Lantern's vegetarian duck blew my mind! I got the pad kee mao, sans eggs, with the vegetarian duck to make it a completely vegan dish and now Lantern has become my favorite Thai restaurant in NYC! If you're vegetarian or vegan, come try Lantern with your non-vegan friends. There'll be delicious options for all.

Wonderful experience at a restaurant with good food and great atmosphere. They were able to accommodate our party of 9 fairly quickly but as the night went on the restaurant become completely packed. We started with the Tom Yum Soup and avocado rolls. I highly recommend the Tom Yum Soup, which was vegetarian and extremely rich in flavor. We came here on a whim when our first choice for dinner in the area didn't pan out. We were seated right away and didn't wait too long for our food (a party of eight was taking a lot of the staff's attention as we arrived). We tried the Lantern fried rice with shrimp and udon noodles in red curry with tofu.
