I’ve been wanting to go here forever and finally got a reservation! The place is huge inside but very loud, even at 10pm on the Thursday. I recommend dressing up a little bit to fit in with the atmosphere.
The Brussel sprouts were some of the best I’ve ever had — I think about them daily! Pastas were also divine. Would love to go back soon.

Cacio e Pepe was phenomenal and loved the buzzy atmosphere here!
Always a good meal here. The focaccia and olive oil cake are a must and you can’t go wrong with the cacio e pepe or the mushroom garganelli.

The pasta was perfectly cooked and deeply flavorful, making every bite worth it. The lively energy and polished service made it a place I’d gladly return to.

Stylish Italian restaurant in the West Village with a lively atmosphere and an open kitchen. The fresh pastas and small plates are excellent for sharing, and the wine list is extensive without feeling overwhelming. Reservations can be hard to get, but the overall experience makes it worth planning ahead

Awesome experience. The roasted mushrooms were not what we were expecting, in a GOOD Way. They were fantastic. The Pici 'Cacio e Pepe' was good as well, I just didn't eat my much because I wanted more pork chop, read below.
We got the pork chop as our main course. It has to be one of the best pork chops I've ever had. I would order it again in a heartbeat!

Roasted mushroom and the focaccia were good start to the meal, the pasta dishes were good but didn’t standout. The dessert and the drinks surprised me the most in a good way . I came here based on recommendation but the place doesn’t keep up with the hype.
The place is loud so if you want a quiet dinner maybe go somewhere else.
The service was the not the best, our servers seemed like she didn’t wanted to be there, I understand holiday rush but just felt it could have been better.
Worth a one time visit, Not a stand-out meal.

My husband and I arrived earlier than the reservation time. There was a table available, and we sat on the second floor. We ordered Garganelli, Perciatelli Nero, and Roasted Mushrooms. We actually like the garganelli and the roasted mushrooms, but the perciatelli nero was okay.
Also, I hope the workers are efficient to check the bathroom, especially on the second floor. When we ate there, my husband was disgusted by the 2nd-floor bathroom, so we had to go to the bathroom downstairs.

It has been about 8 years since I have been to L'Artusi and now that I moved back to New York, I look forward to catching up on lost time. Now in its 17th year, L'Artusi deserves the bragging rights as a New York City institution.
As a pescatarian, I devoured the Perciatelli Nero as well as the Tuna Au Poivre. My brother loved the Tagliatelle with white Bolognese and the Roasted Chicken. We shared the broccoli rabe as a side. You don't see a white bolognese anymore and my brother said it was perfection.

The best carpaccio we have ever had no joke. The pasta was so good and wines were perfectly matched. Reasonable price and the staff was nice & accommodating!

The girl at the counter needs a new job. Made me feel unwelcome and appeared grumpy through the night. Not sure why I even tipped.

Reliably tasty food! I love the burger and my wife love the squid pasta. It’s our default dine out restaurant. Service has room for improvement so one less star for that.

We had a reservation at 7pm and were not seated until 7:20pm. At 7:15 I asked the hostess when she thinks we would be seated as we had somewhere to get to after our dinner and she seemed annoyed I asked, saying “the table just paid so we still need some time”. When we were seated, no apologies were given from the hostess or the waiter for the long wait. Aside from this, the food was tasty and came out super fast. I recommend the bucatini and olive oil cake! The Brussel sprouts were also very good and had a strong lemon flavor.
