Came for lunch, pasta was good but nothing exceptional. Portions are small, not sure if it’s just for lunch but I could have eaten 3 pasta portions.

In an area with great restaurantS bith food and service-wise, was very disappointed with the hostess service at L’artusi. In just under 90 mnts the hostess came by and asked us to vacate the table - I had not yet finished my drink though we had paid our bill.
After we got up i mentioned to her that we did not appreciate being asked to vacate so soon her response was rude and unaccomadating. This is not the service I expect for the price point for this restaurant. Food was good but the service left a very bad taste. Will never go back again and will not recommend this place.

Valentina single-handedly ruined the whole night with her attitude and lack of warmth. Hospitality is the cornerstone of dining out, but Valentina’s sour demeanor and utter lack of professionalism shattered any hope of a pleasant evening. If this restaurant values its reputation, they’ll address her rotten attitude immediately—or better yet, show her the door. Until then, spare yourself the misery and eat elsewhere.

Sat at the bar and the tender was great. Not overly talkative, she was experienced and generous.
The food was fantastic. The Nero was probably my favorite, the squid ink and nori gave the toothy pasta a lovely touch of the ocean. The tagliatelle ragu was one of the better I've had in the neighborhood.
If I had to complain about anything, the focaccia came out literally cold and hard. Seemed to be such an anamoly compared to everything else that perhaps staff just goofed on this small app item, because it felt so stale and rubbery (flavor was on point).
9/10 would def go back

Food is good. Service and staff are terrible - especially Valentina. There are many better Italian places, with nice staff.

I accidentally told my boyfriend wrong reservation time, totally my fault.
Since before Christmas,I thought impossible to switch my time.
(When I asked this early evening, they said tonight fully booked, won’t be able to push my time)
When I got there I told my situation and tried to cancel.
But host were so kind and they switched my reservation time.
I really really appreciate it.
Even before eating dinner already I felt so happy, choose this restaurant.
Thank you very much for understanding.

Family went out for dinner and had a delightful experience.
The food was amazing !!
Ordered the Branzino Filet. It was beyond words....perfectly cooked. Subtle flavors of branzino lingered on the palate..
We also ordered the Roasted chicken, Spaghetti and Pici 'Cacio E Pepe.
All the dishes were superb and well executed.
For dessert we got the olive oil cake ...yummmm!! It was devoured in 2 mins... that speaks about the taste.
On the side we ordered the carrots too...perfect to go with all dishes.
Would love to go back again for more dishes.

We had an incredible experience at this restaurant! Despite it being notoriously hard to get a reservation, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome when we mentioned we had just moved to the neighborhood. They seated us immediately in a prime area, which made the evening feel extra special.
The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The service was outstanding; the staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely warm. It felt like we were being welcomed not just into the restaurant but into the community.
This place is a true gem, and we’re so glad to have found it. We’ll definitely be back soon and will be recommending it to everyone we know!

Came here for Sunday brunch. Make sure you make reservations. Foccacia was great to start. Wagyu beef tartar was delicious.
I thought the bucatini Nero was amazing. Pasta had amazing texture and it had plenty of crab to enjoy.
Wife had carbonara. For a carbonara, It was light and delicious

This could be the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. The food this so good! Our server was fantastic! The only reason I gave the atmosphere 4 stars, it was very loud. The could have been just that night. But it’s a busy place. Would highly recommend!

Warmth, professionalism, and fantastic food. Everything you could ask for in a sought after west village joint. Get it all, but don’t skip the carpaccio, the steak, the chicken and the Brussels. Service, food, atmosphere…the only place I would rather be than my living room is L’artusi.

Appetizers to Main dishes were excellent. We all tried each other's appetizers and meals. The staff was very friendly and kept us updated on the status of our table.

Visited L’Artusi with a friend, we managed to get a reservation at the last minute. They have fabulous pasta! I decided to get the Carbonara and it did not disappoint. They have a great dessert menu, the ‘Sorbetti’ was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

Travelling from Canada and decided to eat here after seeing many positive reviews. Food was only ok, ordered steak MR and it came rare to blue. Instead of making me a new plate they heated up the steak to almost well done. Service wasn’t great as it was very obvious they are just trying to get the bills higher. For instance, my husband and I ordered a steak and a pasta dish and the server said “are you sure.. that isn’t a lot of food” when in fact it was more than enough. I told her our budget for wine and she said well we have this option at the top of your budget. She said the wine because it was at the top of the budget rather than based on a recommendation. The wine was terrible btw. For a 600 + dollar bill, it absolutely was not worth the trip.
