Dropped in here for dinner with my husband a couple of weeks ago for the first time, and it was such a positive experience. This is a wine bar with a great outdoor setup and fantastic ultra friendly service.The food was delicious, we shared a salmon tartar and an endive salad to start. I had the duck as my entree, and it was exquisite. We truly felt spoiled. Can't wait to go back!
We have eaten here several times before and were ecstatic that they have survived the COVID/shutdown. Like most NYC restaurants, La Bateau has outside seating which they have made delightful and charming. We had a glass of champagne and some excellent wine ( they offer a selection of 350 high quality wines) and the recommended special of duck confit and it was INCREDIBLE!! Service by our waiter was AMAZING!! This place just keeps getting better. Highly, highly recommend!!

We met with friends at this restaurant for dinner. my friend recommended this place. Well, it was very successful. the staff members were so friendly and we had a fantastic feeling. The meal was great. We had a great time and we shall definitely come back again. Warmly recommended.
