A silly manager with a silly policy! At 3:45pm, no one is sitting outside and they’re pretending a table is reserved. Then some loaded manager comes to suggest they don’t sit in people with training pants!

The opening dinner of Climate Week, organized by The New York Times and Saint-Gobain, took place at Le Bilboquet in NYC. This meaningful event provided an invaluable opportunity to engage in discussions about some of the most pressing issues of our time, including affordable housing, building stronger communities, social justice, and creating better opportunities for vulnerable populations. Together, we explored innovative ideas and proposed tangible solutions to address these challenges, all with a shared commitment to creating a more equitable and sustainable future. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of collaboration in fostering hope and driving positive change.
Thank you @jcagid for inviting @luxurylab_esg and having the opportunity to share the table with amazing people @jonathanrosecompanies @henkrogers Jolie Milstein @urbandesignforum . Congratulations for promoting positive discussions and bringing important topics such as the future of housing to discussions.

Wasn’t allowed to sit inside because of my service dog. Amilia host/manager said it is fully booked while 90% of the restaurant is empty

If you’re into pretentious, overpriced, and mediocre food, this is the place for you. I’d rather go to a diner and enjoy food that I know. This was nothing short of awful avoid this place unless you value superficiality.

The waiter was very nice but I ordered chicken paillard and just brought me a plate with a piece of chicken on it. No lettuce or anything. I asked for avocado too and that didn't come. Eventually the lettuce and avocado came ten minutes later.
Not sure if I'd go back. It's nothing special but not bad - just insanely expensive.

The Bilboquet delivered an extraordinary brunch experience with its vibrant ambiance with exceptional cuisine. Every dish we sampled was a testament to culinary finesse, from the perfectly crafted classics to the inventive, flavorful specials, and the desert was spectacular. The combination of great food, impeccable service, and lively beats made for an unforgettable brunch that leaves you eager to return.

The food, the ambience and service was excellent! The salmon and the steak were the highlights. Loved the south of France vibe - and overhearing French being spoken in addition to the food and drinks. Apparently you have “to be French” to work there - or at least speak the language; I think that’s wonderful and adds to authenticity!

Sitting outside is great. Inside is crowded and cramped. We found out the waitress speaking in French to us was a bit funny and maybe a bit demeaning too. Service was overall not kind except for the host, who is fantastic.
Also, the Socca is definitely not French style. It’s much thicker and made us feel a bit unwell afterwards. The salad is great.

I love this cafe. They have wonderful coffee and treats. It's very French so you will be getting French flair pasties and drinks. Enjoy!
