No frills. Grab a beer here before you jump on the LIRR. Budweiser tall boys are $4.25. Bit of a mad house at rush hour but it gets the job done for those looking for a sneaky one on the ride home. Wheelchair accessible. No bathroom. The staff is whick to serve and sometimes you need to be a little assertive to get your drink and move on your way. Other times it's very empty depending on the time you go.
I work nearby so I frequently eat here. The employees here work hard, fast and are generally friendly. I get my coffee on the right side and the usual woman is a sweetheart.My only gripe is the left side where you order breakfast food, the guy sometimes forgets stuff and works very sloppy. There are always remnants of what he prepared previously in your breakfast because he does not wipe the utensils clean. I know this because I received a half "Green" english muffin...
Not sure about the bad post from awhile ago. BUT i eat there all the time and i have to say this place makes the best salad. You have to try it and you will get addicted. I only wish they had this place close to my house. Try the specialty salad. 10.50 and u get a salad the size of a mixing bowl and i am ashamed to say it.... It was so good i ate the whole thing. Staff is fast and friendly. Trust me about the salads fresh and great over 15 toppings.
