We went here for dinner, this restaurant is horrible, the staff are so beyond rude and the service is so slow, we were basically ignored by all the staff members, it was basically a hunt to get anyone to take our order. The meat was good but the fries and salad had no flavor, and for the price is definitely not worth it. It might be more worth it if the staff weren’t so rude and lazy.

Le Marais is the only real pre-broadway show Kosher option in the heart of times square. I have been here countless times but last night I realized something. This is the same restaurant in every sense of the word as it was over twenty years ago. Nothing has changed. As the world has evolved and culinary art has evolved Le Marais continues to serve decent food with no regard to presentation. Think 1977 Catskills food. It’s good but it’s very boring. I really feel the restaurant could use a complete renovation and the menu should be redone to enter the new tastes and appealing desires of the 2025 patron. With the location and size of restaurant this place has potential to be the highlight of any tourists’ Times Square Visit. I would be remiss if I didn’t take at least one line of this review even if it is the last line, to say they do have the best French fries if you like super thin and crispy fries (which I love).
Delicious, conveniently located to Times Square and theater district, very very popular kosher bistro style restaurant where even non- kosher patrons love the food. Le Marais is our go-to eatery when in NYC. Generous portions, yummy baguette bread served with meal, and a large variety of items on the menu . Has a bar with whatever you care to order, as well as a variety of desserts. Great for family outings, dates, solo , too. It does get noisy but it’s hard to find a large space table clothed restaurant in NYC that’s quiet at popular hours. We love the demi poulet roti, the steak frites plate ( you can substitute fingerling potatoes)- they come with a green salad, too. For New York City, the prices are reasonable if you choose wisely . We always come back😊
This is a pleasant kosher restaurant experience. The atmosphere is inviting, contributing to a comfortable dining setting. The service was notably kind and attentive, which enhanced the overall visit.
Regarding the food, it was clearly fresh and well-prepared (clean). However, while perfectly acceptable, the dishes were generally average in execution. They lacked a distinct flavor profile or culinary innovation that would elevate them above the norm.
In summary: A solid choice for a reliable kosher meal with very good service and a nice setting, but perhaps not the destination for an exceptional gastronomic experience.

Incredible food. Great atmosphere. Godbless.
Great service good food. Nice atmosphere. It was not busy at 200 in the afternoon, it seems it could be very noisy. Very convenient to my hotel and tourist stops in Times square

It's a little noisy but the food is great and the prices are not crazy like other kosher steakhouses.
