Nice place for short break but service was kind of slow. On a sunny day you can enjoy your drink of choice and snack while observing what is going on around you in the park.

Lovely, quiet spot right in front of a small pond. The food is very tasty, and the staff are exceptionally attentive. Highly recommended!

I’m from Melbourne, Australia, and that was honestly the worst coffee to ever touch my taste buds. You’d be better off boiling water from the Yarra and putting instant Nescafé Gold in it.

Service is very slow on weekends.
Poorly made food and drinks. Service was extremely rushed and disorganized. Waste of money. Conservatory Water would benefit from a different restaurant to accompany the beautiful scenery.

We enjoyed hot drinks & pastries at the Le Pain Quotidien kiosk near the boating lake in Central Park today at one of their tables in the late evening sunshine, watching people going by and children sailing their rented remote controlled model boats in the lake.
My wife enjoyed her weak one shot, milky latte and small moist mini carrot cake and I enjoyed my English breakfast tea but there wasn't much apple in my apple turnovers, which was mainly dry flakey pastry. The bill came to $21.
There were public male & female toilets either side of the kiosk and a table service section offering waiter service for a selection of food & drinks.
It wasn't too busy when we were there around 6pm on a Saturday evening and it was the perfect place to sit down, take a break, relax and watch the world go by in Central Park whilst enjoying a drink.
We were fortunate to be there to listen to the famous Central Park guitar man playing some beautiful guitar music from across the boating lake during one of his regular Saturday slots.

Really terrific location by the reservoir, but the food, drinks, and service do not live up to the expectations. The service at this LPQ location is non personal with lots of eye rolling and nasty looks. It’s also quite slow with a long line of customers that snakes toward the restroom. I ordered a chai latte and it was concentrated chai from a box with a splash of milk, not steamed or foam. It was very watered down and gross. The apple turnover was the only redeeming part about this visit, as it was flaky and just the right amount of sweetness. Overall, I was sorely disappointed and will not be returning.

I love going to Le Pain Quotidien and ordering a small café au lait or a latte on Saturday or Sunday mornings.
The coffee is very delicious and prepared right in front of you.
It is a bit expensive in my opinion, and the wait can be long if you arrive during rush hours.

The first time we visited New York City we added this delightful café and knew that we would return upon our next visit. Today we enjoyed an incredible setting at the edge of sailboat pond inside of Central Park. The food was superb and our service was even better. Visit this location and ask for Najib. You will not be disappointed.

Lovely view and wonderful food/coffee. Najib took care of us and was very friendly and attentive! Highly recommend asking for him if you can and stopping to enjoy a cup of coffee watching the sailboats in the morning.
