The large iced matcha latte was more milk than I could ever drink mixed with a couple tablespoons of matcha. The sandwich I ordered was more bread than the tiny slices of egg and cheese and avocado could ever need. But the atmosphere…incomparable obviously.
Staff was super friendly and helpful. Some ot the salads/sandwiches are pre-made if you want yours to be made to order ask which items on the menu come from the fridge. Plenty of options from the bakery, good coffee. Lemonade is great. Atmosphere is wonderful- Central Park by the model sail boat pond. Some waiting is to be expected if you want to be seated, but there are plenty of seats around if you don't feel like waiting.
After working out in Central Park, we went for breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien and it was a great choice. The atmosphere is very cozy and perfect for relaxing after exercise. The food was delicious, especially the fresh bread and high-quality ingredients, and the service was friendly and quick. Definitely a great spot to recharge in an unbeatable location.
