Very disappointing service experience. The waiter ( if not mistaken- Babu) was rude, inattentive, and acted like he simply didn’t care. Even when we were trying to get his attention multiple times, he ignored us. He never checked on the table, never asked if we needed anything. During check out did not even bother to ask if we need a check, and when I asked for the check, I was ignored again. Definitely not the level of service expected. The food/ coffee/ bakery was good (especially the tuna sandwich).

Just in the city for a visit and this location was convenient…but I will definitely be back. Rosa M our server is so nice and did a great job making us feel welcomed and special❤️. Delicious breakfast. Especially loved the multigrain GF toast and my cappuccino was the best I’ve had on this trip.

I will be reporting this to your store management and escalating it to your company.

Absolutely under-staffed. Most people are honestly coming for a quick bite. Otherwise it is a good option close to Lincoln Center.

Walked in here on a blisteringly cold day for some soup. I was pleasantly surprised! The lentil soup was excellent and the slice of bread that came with it was very tasty. Even though it was cold outside, I ate al fresco before my matinee of Ragtime at LCT.

The food here is tasty and the atmosphere pleasant. The service, however, can be slow at best. I wouldn't suggest it at busy times if you need to finish in a timely fashion.
Myself and a large group were there recently post-opera. The service was extremely slow and they were CLEARLY understaffed with only 2 waiters. That being said, the servers should have shown more aplomb. I waited tables for 15 years and know that a smile and friendly word goes a long way towards placating guests who have waited too long and improves the situation for both guests and staff. There was an issue with something and the waiter was surly with me and no apology for the uneven, glacially slow service.

This place has gone so far downhill! The breakfast was absolutely pitiful. But service was good. I mean we're talking a single egg in a skillet with a piece of mediocre bread for $15? No feta as the menu indicted and just two grape tomato halves. Thankfully the coffee and company were solid. If you're looking for a breakfast spot, there are so many other places in the hood (Maman on Columbus, Old John's on W67th, Cafe Aroma on Broadway/62, and more. Pass this LPQ by...bye, bye.
