fresh breads, very good croissants, lots of sweet things, and a small table service section with a lunchy menu, and usually a long wait. this is a busier lpq location that frequently runs out of bread choices.
personally i find the espresso roast here a little too burnt so i don't take it here, but that's personal taste.
Great salads, breakfast foods and pastries. Very organic farm to table feel. Gluten free and vegetarian vegan options.

Got the breakfast sandwich and latte, both were really good. Swornim was the best server ever. She took care of everything and made our experience perfect. Will definitely come back!

If you are looking to just pop in and grab some pastries this would be a good spot. Ordered a few items for breakfast and coffee to go. Regular coffee was quick any espresso drink expect to wait for 15 minutes. While the pastries are good I am not confident they are made in the store. When we ordered the French cream doughnut the cream in the middle seemed frozen. Others enjoy the passion fruit and lemon tartes. If you are getting pastries to enjoy in the shop and not eating at the restaurant it is standing room with counter tops.

First time there we walked in and picked out some pastries, coffee, and hot chocolate. As we went to sit down we were told we were not allowed too and if we had wanted to eat there we had to order at the table. No sign or employee told us this when we entered. Pastries were great, coffee basic but bad hot chocolate (tasted of only warm milk). We decided to go back for breakfast since the pastries were great. Ordered food and breakfast. Coffee was served in a ceramic kettle with bowls. Too big for one hand drinking needed two hands. We asked for cups but they said the bowls were cups. Coffee in kettle was room temp amd sugar would not desolve. Food arrived and waffle was cold. Waiter was kind but very busy as he had no help. Will not be going back even though we stay right around the corner several times a year.

We did not know in this place if you order first you can not sit in there
You have to wait in front.
And person who served us talked with somone and said you can sit in big table. Bun in a second I guess their manager or higher worker
Came and said if buy your stuff you can not sit here. It is rode for me
I got it maybe it’s their policy but we just got croissants and coffee. It is gonna be 5 min sit but. She shoved us entrance.
But I have to say who served us he was very kind person.
If there is a Way to rate him I would give 5 star to him. For his kindness and super energy.

LPQ has mostly disappeared from London, so finding them all over New York feels extra special. I popped in on a cold, snowy day and their chicken soup was exactly the kind of warmth I needed. I paired it with a spelt scone. A slightly odd choice, I know, but I fancied it and honestly enjoyed every bite.
Simple, comforting, and perfect for winter. Would happily go back.

The service and the staff (not everyone thankfully) are terribly unpleasant, rude and unwelcoming. Unfortunately I miss having my baguette before going to work so it’s my only alternative.

This place is very crowded all day. Yet the service is calm and the food is good. The have many healthy options, as well as rich, decadent pastries, cookies & tarts
