The value and quality here is so hard to beat, it's honestly a must visit and easily a 5/5. I left completely stuffed, drank two glasses of wine, and with the pre fixe spent $50 before tip which is just such an incredible value for this part of town and this dining experience. The food was delicious, service was prompt, restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was transportive. I would ABSOLUTELY come here again, and would recommend anyone else to do so as well if they are in the area. I couldn't be more pleased.

Steak portion was small even though you get 2 servings. Steak was ok but not great.
The food tastes good, but the service doesn’t hold up. The drinks are weak and they have started to charge for extra sauce (which is their saving grace btw). The atmosphere is always very loud and unwelcoming because they put people way too close together to feel comfortable. Add to this the price increases and penny pinching are what lost them the stara in my eyes.

The waitresses aren't friendly, it seems like they're making a sacrifice just to serve us. There isn't a single smile.

Not worth the hype at all. The fries were not even as good as fast food spots, even putting salt on the fries it didn’t stick. They were limp and flavorless. The sauce is the biggest hype but it was very mediocre . The desserts seemed like they were left out too long or not in the fridge long enough, texture wasn’t good. Our server was sweet but the food was not worth the hype at all.

We ordered two steak-frites plates and loved them. The signature sauce was amazing, and the complimentary lunch wine was a great touch. Friendly service, nice atmosphere, and delicious food. Highly recommend!

Love the fixed menu of steak and salad. Don’t get me started on how great the salad dressing is. Desserts good too. A simple meal and a great staple.

Very good steak. Made well. Tiny portions . Good place to come if you have friends that talk and dont eat much. else you wait a significant time to be served twice tiny portions of steak and enjoy the noisy atmosphere. 39.5 in new york may not seem much but for Meat loves this is not a real value for money. Some of the serves are very nice others maybe too exhusted.

I’ve been to this restaurant dozens of times because of the steak frites and especially the steak sauce. Now they want to charge an extra $5 for the sauce? That’s insane. Charging extra for something that has always been part of the experience is very disappointing. Unfortunately, they just lost a loyal customer.

only 1 menu item, the steak frite with a salad
steak was well prepared and the sauce was a bit mild, a refill of fries was necessary though with a large helping of Dijon mustard
service and experince was excellent
