Unfortunately, our experience at Le Rock was very disappointing.
The service was very poor — the waitstaff barely paid attention to our table, and we often had to wait a long time just to get basic service. We were also seated in a bad spot, which immediately set the tone for the visit.
The food itself was underwhelming and not tasty, especially considering the prices. Nothing stood out in a positive way.
The atmosphere was another major issue. It was extremely loud and uncomfortable, making it difficult to relax or enjoy the meal. Overall, the restaurant felt chaotic rather than energetic.
Given the level of service, food quality, and overall comfort, the experience did not justify the price. We expected much more.

We had Christmas Eve dinner here and it was a wonderful experience! There was a partial view of the tree from our seat but it was still very special. The dining room isn’t super large and feels cozy and festive. It wasnt too noisy either. Service was great, very professional. There was a moment when they cleared crumbs off the table and accidentally brushed some onto my dads lap😅
The food was wonderful! The flavors were delicious and filled us up. I read other reviews that the portions were small but I wouldn’t agree. Only the lobster was “small” as the serving was only half a lobster. I had the Dover sole and got very full. The starter burrata pasta was so delicious I almost wished it was my main!

Festive location for celebrating the holidays in the apex of Gotham's Rockefeller Center. Buttery riche French cuisine. Good libations and desserts.

Outstanding restaurant in Midtown NYC!
Le Rock is certainly the best restaurant in the neighborhood. Amazing food, great atmosphere, and impeccable service. The wine list is exceptional, with a strong focus on outstanding natural wines. A true gem in Midtown—highly recommended!

Extremely rude and hostile host. We made a reservation online but there was some type of mixup because there was a private event. The hostess was so rude about it, I was shocked. I would not recommend this place. The customer service is awful.
We had a wonderful experience at Little Rock on Saturday. I made the reservation a week or so ago so we were very fortunate to get a table. However, we were a little disappointed to realize that our table was at the bar and not in the main dining area. That would be my only criticism, particularly since there were so many open tables in the main dining room for the entire time of our meal. Other than that, it was exceptional.
Service was very good. Menu is overpriced and food quality is mediocre. Many things were not available from the menu; sold out. Even the drinks were mediocre at best; poor value. This is a great spot to visit when visiting Rock Center, but not worth it beyond that.
The restaurant is lovely and feels less cramped than many New York restaurants. It was a perfect end to a cold night viewing the tree. Excellent.

Service from entering to seating throughout was flawless and warm. Great energy for the winter weather. Food quality and drink options all outstanding and thoughtful. Can't wait to return.
Exceptional dining experience I had for my birthday.
We particularly enjoyed the snails, steak, and the traditional French dessert, as well as the table with a view of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree.
Our waiter’s suggestion regarding the excellent fries was also correct. He is also very helpful with recommending the menu items and super friendly to the children.
A wonderful evening, we look forward to dining again.

Had an amazing lunch experience at Le Rock today, this is the quintessential French Bistro located within in heart of Rockefeller center in Midtown Manhattan. The restaurant was crowded and noisy but the food and service were fantastic today. We will definitely be returning to this fine establishment!

My guest and I had an elegant light lunch at Le Rock. Our only complaint is both menu items we would have chosen— escargot and the duck confit—were not available. Even so, we had a great experience at Christmas time in the city.
FANTASTIC. PHENOMENAL. GET THE DUCK AND THE SOUFFLE. ENJOY THE TREE. THANK ME LATER
