Great food, great wine, great people. During the summer, the street is closed off and you can seat outside in true Parisian fashion. Highly recommend for any lovers of French cuisine (specifically the bouchee a la reine) or lovers of wine and good times

Love this French spot for happy hour! Best service in the city, Sebastian is amazing! The ambiance is charming and cozy with Parisian vibes. The wine selection is top-notch, and their cheese board is a must-try. Great place to unwind with friends after a long day

Had a great dinner here on a weeknight. The foie gras appetizer is certainly delicious as recommended! Sébastien was a wonderful server and gave great wine recommendations. We really enjoyed our anniversary dinner here, and can’t wait to come again!

I was very disappointed in coming back to this place. I had a nice meal and good time before, and so decided to bring some family and friends. We decided to pop in after having some drinks in the area. We get here at 10pm, and we’re kicked out by a rude server. Closing time is 12am on Friday. I don’t understand the inconsistency. Highly disappointed.

Food was not good. Cauliflower au gratin came in a small bowl and was burnt and had a sour taste. Octopus was as tough as a rope and served over rice inexplicably thickly coated with a sweet mayo sauce. I was able to hack off one bite and couldn't eat any more. Also does not have a full bar - only wine. Pass.

A friend and I stumbled into Lena when looking for a place to get a quick glass of wine before dinner. We left many hours later, having had the most wonderful time there. The manager could not have been more welcoming or attentive. The wine and frites were tasty and well priced. It is a small and inviting space on a beautiful West Village block. We had a great time chatting and laughing with the manager and other patrons. It was a serendipitous night that turned into an really special and memorable one. Luckily I live nearby, because I will be back often.

Everything about this place is excellent! Food, atmosphere and particularly the staff - the owner is so warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back! Shared the ham & cheese platter to start, followed by the poulet basquais & grilled octopus and the chocolate mousse to finish. Cocktails were also excellent - one of the best espresso martinis we’ve had and perfect kir royale. This is also the only place I’ve been able to find white burgundy wine in nyc so that was a real treat. Thank you so much!

A wonderful spot to unwind, have a glass of wine, and a delicious meal. Located on a jewel of a street with amazing trees and neighborhood ambiance. The wine is reasonably priced and focused on France. The food is classic, approachable, French fare - steak frites, fabulous! The owner is warm and welcoming and the service is paced to accommodate those on a speedy schedule, and others who want to just chill and enjoy this magical neighborhood in a busy city and world. Outdoor seating at classic French bistro tables, when the weather is warm and you have been tied up all day on endless conference calls, adds to the experience. Great wine, food, ambiance, affordable, and reflects the vibe of days gone by in this incredible neighborhood.

Great vibe and service, but the food is a little sketch. My steak was well seasoned but cutting through it was like cutting through leather. And after I cut off all the gristle, I noticed that the steak was about 1/3rd less the size.My friend ordered the mussels and got food poisoning the next day. Kitchen in basement. Beware when ordering. Toilet was also broken.Overall, when you come here you're paying for the ambiance. Great for drinks, fries, and small plates like olives, deserts, etc. But...will likely not order actual food from here again.
