An absolute gem in New York! The flavors here are incredibly fresh and vibrant—every dish feels thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The mezze are outstanding, and the Middle Eastern kebabs are perfectly grilled, juicy, and full of authentic spices. From the flavorful appetizers to the tender seafood and meats, everything truly captures the spirit of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. The atmosphere is warm and stylish without feeling pretentious, and the service is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Easily one of the best Mediterranean spots in the city—highly recommended and definitely a place I’ll be returning to.

I had a great experience at Sultan! The food was delicious, especially the Sultan Combo plates — they were generous, fresh, and full of flavor. Their cocktails were also amazing, definitely some of the best I’ve had recently. The manager was very friendly and attentive, and the staff made me feel really welcome. The atmosphere was warm, the music added a nice touch, and the service was excellent. A place I’ll definitely be coming back to. Hope my review helps — highly recommended!

Came in for dinner on thanksgiving day. From the moment you walk in you are treated with kindness. Had the lamb Shish which was cooked to a perfect medium. Turkish coffee and dessert hit the spot to wrap up a great evening!

My food was ready in about 10 minutes, which was super fast. The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. The portions are big, and you definitely get what you pay for totally worth the price. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this place!

So so good! We love Turkish food, and this restaurant was excellent! Very friendly service and a great atmosphere. Would highly recommended if you want a Mediterranean cuisine. And baklava is the most delicious ever.

Had dinner here on a Friday night with a friend. Arrived around 630pm, I was seated quickly once I said my plus one had already arrived. If you blink you will miss this location as the entry is not obvious. The service was great! The Ganoush was really good and fresh, so was the hummus. The atmosphere was great. Make a reservation as they fill up pretty quickly.

This is a pleasant looking place near Bloomie's, and the food is delicious, not haute cuisine but like Mama used to make, if you were brought up in Turkey (I'm guessing here as I was brought up in the U.S. and not by a Turkish family). Prices very fair in these unaffordable days but don't expect free. The owner visited our table and he was quite delightful. I wish him much success. I didn't love the playlist but it was not so loud that you couldn't ignore it and the general noise level of the restaurant was comfortable. Here's hoping it stays that way once people discover it.

The noise level has always been an irritant in this space and has been an issue with its previous tenant August. some sort of sound absorption or noise proofing would help a lot.

This is a great find. Their lunch special is a real value with excellent food and service. Restaurant decor is very pleasant and not noisy you can enjoy your food and talk to your friends in a very relaxed and fun atmosphere. I just chose it randomly and very glad we did.

Me and my friends celebrated my birthday at Sultan's. The service was great. The food was absolutely delicious. We will be back for sure.
