I was on a random NY trip, and this location of Birch coffee was a couple blocks down from my place of stay. I am an avid coffee drinker-- particularly lattes. I was initially recommended a different cafe as the best cafe in town, but decided to give Birch coffee a try, and boy was I thankful! Cozy NYC cafe Melbourne ... Unfortunately their coffee machine broke down mid-morning - but as a testament to their great service; the barrista offered waiting customers a free Japanese cold brew and future free coffee ☕?

Whenever people come from out of town I always bring them to this specific location of Birch. They are some of the kindest and hardest working baristas in the whole city! The atmosphere is nice and cozy, everyone clearly feels welcome here. Best matcha latte's in the city (I get mine with the housemade oat milk... YUM!).Vegetarian options: None of their pastries have any meat/fish in them!
