Little discovery on the way up to the north of New York and frankly, it's really worth stopping there for lunch. You will discover Tibetan specialties, including Bodhthuk which allows you to warm up after a long walk in NY. Little icing on the cake, there are many vegetarian dishes.

I wanted to gate keep this but it is such a wonderful spot that deserves even more love. Amazing food and people - I love everything that we ordered, especially the chive momo and chili beef. I am rarely impressed by food even when I try fine dining but everything we ordered was unbelievably delicious. I also really like the sweet tea as it has some childhood flavor that I can’t explain. And everything feels very clean and fresh. Our server was a nice guy and we learned some Tibetan from him. I passed Lhasa one day and we even waved to each other lol. Overall would love to come back frequently with friends. Plus the pricing is very reasonable

One of the best soup dishes I've had in my entire life so sar. Lhasa was our last place to stop at NYC and to be absolutely honest, it completely stealt the show. Shoko Phingsha with beef and chives was mindblowing and I can't stop thinking about how tasty this dish was.

Had a great experience at Lhasa! As soon as you walk in you’re greeted by a cozy and nicely decorated space along with a polite staff. Their menu is simple yet expansive with plenty of protein options like chicken, beef, pork, and vegetables in a variety of ways like momos, noodles, and rice. Just a heads up though, **ONLY THE CHICKEN OPTIONS ARE HALAL** Regardless, the food was hearty and full of flavor. The momos is a classic must try and the Mokthuk is absolutely perfect for a chilly day. Would love to see their menu expand their halal options, but nonetheless wonderful food and great vibes overall. Definitely will return!

Fantastic and very authentic. I used to live in China and learnt about Tibet culture quite a lot. I’m very glad to find the place where I can enjoy Tibet culture and food. Highly recommended!

Delicious Tibetian food here! Especially enjoyed the atmosphere and our server was pleasant, very attentive and friendly. Will come back again for the momo as they are some of the best in Manhattan.
