Great pastries. And the infusion between the Arab pastry and the West pastry it’s amazing love the idea and the food itself was very good. Highly recommend this place. Worth the very, very long, long queue.

The servers are super nice, good coffee, good vibes and amazing bakery items! Everything they’ve is really good, I think the only Bahrain bakery in the whole US. Must try rose pistachio croissant 10/10

This is the best bakery I’ve ever been to in my life and I’ve been to a few notable ones including Radio Bakery. I ordered my food to eat during a work activity and couldn’t focus on a single thing, the food was what mind blowing. Standouts to me were the tahini cookie and the pain au chocolat. This should be on everyone’s NYC bucket list

This review is about sustainability only! 😌
Your bakery is absolutely fantastic, but I was a bit disheartened to see how much single use plastic was being used by folks who were staying at the shop to enjoy their meal.
Play 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. Plastics are made from fossil fuels, and leach chemicals into humans and our ecosystems. Over 95% of the plastic that we intend to recycle actually ends up in landfills, incinerators, and in our waterways. These plastics breakdown into micro plastics that are making us sick.
I truly appreciate that you do, indeed offer real mugs, plates, cutlery. But it seems like much of your customer base is not aware of that. I believe that if they were, they would ask accordingly.
Perhaps you can encourage your barista’s to ask their customers, explicitly if they will be enjoying their meal to stay. You could also feature more sustainable dining in options on your social media. Building awareness is key. You could also incentivize customers bringing their own reusable mugs, etc. I would also suggest providing real reusable cups for water. Because these throwaway plastic ones are not only unsightly, but will, of course go straight to the landfill, as seen by the confusion inside the recycling and trash receptacles.
As a waterfront city, we must be doing better by our surrounding environment. As local and national policy continues to lag regarding the plastic waste crisis, we must look to local vendors to help patrons make better decisions that support the health of this planet.
Thank you for your consideration! And of course, thank you for creating such delicious baked goods. Out of this world!

I come here a lot for their pastries - top tier no doubt, but their drinks are always a miss and overpriced for the size they give. The baristas/cashiers are not very friendly either.

Stopped by Libre Bakery and tried a couple of pastries. The pistachio rose croissant was definitely the standout—flaky and packed with flavor. The pistachio and rose really came through, though it was a bit too buttery and oily for me. I also had the za’atar bun, which was decent—savory and well-made, but nothing I’d go out of my way for. Overall, a solid 4/5—a good spot for baked goods in the city, especially if you’re into unique flavors!

The place smells heavenly and has great options. Must try and will surely visit again. The place is full and finding a table might be a bit of a struggle if you are looking for a sit down option.

My cousin told me that I HAD to try Librae Bakery and she was right! The first time I went I bought a Pistachio-Rose Croissant which was out of this world. The next time I added to my order with a Chocolate Halva Croissant. I did not think they could top the pistachio one but they did. The line moves along quickly enough and this is one of those places that the wait is more definitely worth it!

The halvah chocolate and sesame croissant was my favorite thing I ate all weekend in NYC! Served on weekends only. Will be dreaming of it!

Restaurantji Recommends
Went there around 4pm on a snowy Saturday
Inside was SUPER crowded and NOISY
Not a lot of seats available
The popular pistachio rose croissant was flavorful but didn’t find it that special
Hot coco tasted like dark chocolate; thick and bitter rich not too sweet
They kept making fresh pistachio croissant so u can still get it even by the time of closing
Overall I may STOP BY just to try another pastry or other drinks
thought i reviewed this place already since i went so long ago but it appears i forgot. i only tried the cardamom carrot scone but it was delicious. super moist and the flavors worked well together despite me being a little skeptical. will be back soon!

Their Jerusalem bagel with labne is what gets me to come into the office. So so so so good.
Maybe a skosh overrated. Waited on line, which moves fast (so don't be intimidated if you're waiting outside). They don't have a TON of options but I'll say everything they do have is aesthetically beautiful. Went with a pistachio rose croissant, which again looked beautiful but was a bit lackluster. I wish there were a bit more creaminess to the topping as it seemed a bit thicker than I would expect. Also ordered an Americano which took a strange amount of time to receive (and the space is not designed for people to be able to stand around). Ultimately, an interesting hype and worth taking a picture inside with your pastries but probably wouldn't need to go back.
