Great coffee shop/bakery! I wanted to try all of the pastries there but I held back. The two I got were amazingg. A croissant and a sort of banana muffin. Both were so fresh and so good. The coffee was great too. I do however recommend going at a not busy time as it was almost impossible to find a place to sit. I was there on a Sunday during the day.
It’s just bakery. It doesn’t feel special. Looki babka is fine — soft inside, crispy outside, but it’s not unlike most other bake shops. The famous pistachio croissant is too burned and greasy. Take a piece of great bread, dip it in pistachio butter, and you’ll have a better experience.
I've never had an egg sandwich with crisped cheese instead of melted cheese and I got a say, it worked SO well. Especially with the mushrooms. I only wish there were more mushrooms on it, but altogether it was really excellent. In a city full of stellar breakfast sandwiches, this one shines particularly bright.
