We eat regularly at Lincoln Ristorante and usually enjoy it very much, but this time was disappointing. While the appetizers were excellent, we found the menu very limited. People who do not eat pork or shellfish had very few options and adjustments to dishes on the menu to avoid those could not be accommodated. The wagyu steak for $90 was too fatty and difficult to eat. The one pasta on the menu that did not have pork or shellfish, an agnoletti, was subpar. We hope things are...
We were 6 octogenarians...3 siblings and 3 spouses celebrating the 85th and 80th birthdays of oldest brother and wife. Greeted warmly, sat down immediately, served well, food was top notch and the special dessert hit exactly the right note.
We had a wonderful New York evening at Lincoln Ristorante. We sat outside with an unobstructed view of the Henry Moore sculptures and Lincoln Center Theater in the distance. The service was attentive but not aggressive. We ordered the Restaurant Week menu--a glorious salad with perfect burrata, I had the seafood pasta (delicious) and my friend had the tilefish (nicely prepared).
