So disappointed in their “best chocolate cake in the country” the cake was extremely dry and tasted stale. It was bitter and tasted like they tried to sweeten it up by dumping sugar in. This may have been of the worst chocolate cakes I’ve tried
carrot cake cupcake was delish!!! hot apple cider good too. good service!
Rude staff, mediocre cupcakes. Requested a small box for a cupcake as I was taking it to go, refused to do so and persistently noted that we must purchase a second one if we wanted a box.

It's cute and cozy. Always go there when I crave a gluten free cupcake. They're the best I had in NYC. Their vegan chocolate cupcakes are amazing as well. I would imagine the non gluten free cake and cupcakes are as good if not better from all the happy sugared faces.

Such a cozy little cupcake spot in Nolita — it feels super homey, like everything was baked with love right in someone’s kitchen. The vegan cookies and cream cupcake was seriously delicious (moist, not overly sweet), and the red velvet was really good too. Definitely want to come back to try their popular chocolate cake next time. Only downside is that their website could use a little refreshing — it doesn’t quite match how cute and warm the shop feels in person.

Stumbled in after dinner. Lots of variety. Great flavors. Highly suggest trying to Nutella Brownie. Will be back a few times.

Giving stars because the shop looks nice and the workers were decently understanding when I expressed my concerns about their brownies. The cupcakes and brownies are very overrated and too sweet. They look delicious but the taste doesn’t match up unfortunately. Everything is overpriced for a mid cupcake. The rice Krispie treats may be the best thing there though! Overall, I wouldn’t come back
I have only ever tried the cheesecakes here. I tried the blueberry, Nutella and classic. All were delicious. The price is a bit high but it is not so easy to find great cheesecake so I think it is still worth it. I have not tried the cupcakes or layer cakes, but those look amazing as well.

I came here with a group of 5 as tourists on a hot summer afternoon - looking to have something sweet, escape the heat, and make use of a restroom. Sounds like most tourists, right? The pastries we got were good but on the “too sweet” side. Prices are on the high side but it’s New York, so that’s expected. The down side is that they don’t have a restroom, and as a nice touch I would suggest they have a water jug with small plastic cups for self service. It would go a long way with customers specially after eating such sweet treats!
$5 + tax + CC surcharge for one dry cupcake. What a steal….
The people working here are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful though. They *did* let me know there’d be a CC surcharge before I proceeded. But they sadly can’t make up for dry cupcakes. Heartbreaking, as they look so cute and tasty. 😢
Alliston (sorry if I butchered that) gives amazing service and food recommendations when I visit.
He is such a nice guy and truly deserves to get the recognition he deserves.
Best cupcakes. NY Cheesecake is unbelievable. Yes, I ate both. Super cozy café and nice and friendly staff too.
I happened upon a charming little cupcake shop whose décor exuded warmth and whimsy. Naturally, I was drawn in. I sampled their Brooklyn Blackout cupcake, which, while visually appealing, ultimately fell short of expectation. The frosting was light and pleasantly sweet, yet the cake itself lacked depth and suffered from a rather dry texture. It was a decent offering, though not memorable. I’ll likely explore other options in the future.
