It's my second trip to NY and it's the first time I went. I repeated twice, dinner and lunch, and there is no comparison with others. The price and flavor are the best but if you add the attention of the workers they add the finishing touch, attentive, pleasant, friendly and very nice. When we were leaving they wished us a safe trip back. I was staying on 94th Street but if I return to NY and it's far away I would go anyway.
Went in at 1:00am on a Thursday and had an amazing slice of cheeae and not even normally a classic cheese guy. Service was exemplary. I got over charged, they noticed before i did and refunded me more than the difference. Its also just the only place open this late in the nieghborhood, so its super important theyre around :)
The special slice was good. The plain regular slice and zero cheese and has that Middle Eastern sesame seed crust, which is not Italian. The service is even depends when you get behind the counter. All said good value.
