I want to give Loring Place a good review. I’ve been going there for years and it’s been consistent. I went for lunch yesterday however and it was really disappointing. The snap pea salad was so overdressed I couldn’t finish it, and my usual favorite appetizer the baked ricotta was oily and just tasted like scallions- even the toast seemed like it had been reheated (it was so hard I could barely bite through the crust). Incredible seasonal menu, super attentive service, very vibey atmosphere. It’s a great date spot or a place to have dinner with the girls. Also had the best Riesling I’ve ever tasted here
