We did corporate catering for Women's History Month and all our colleagues absolutely loved the food. Getting the order set up and facilitating delivery was super easy-- the owners were so communicative and responsive. Thank you so much, Dan!Dietary restrictions: There was great flexibility for dairy free, gluten free, etc.

Waitress/hostess was extremely rude almost to a comical degree. She blatantly ignored our request for the bill three (3!!!) times and made eye contact and just walked right past us. Mind you this is a small place and there is no way she didn’t see or hear us. I would possibly forgive if the food and drinks were better but they were lackluster at best and extremely overpriced. The vibe is cute and they have Red Stripes if that’s all you’re looking for.

Small restaurant in the heart of SoHo. The decoration is charming, the menu is short with Asian-inspired dishes. Everything is cooked before your eyes. The dishes are very good and the staff pleasant. Rates to SoHo are very affordable.

Excellent green curry that truly lives up to its promise of being spicy. The restaurant provides a cozy and somewhat warm atmosphere and charges fair prices.Although they accept cash and, for some reason, Amex only. The in-house ATM (not operated by the restaurant) charges a fee of 5 USD which is horrendous, so bring either cash or your dusty old Amex.

This place is a hidden gem and I hope it stays that way. It's cozy, it's always packed, but it still feels warm and inviting. Other reviews were harsh on the service, and they did feel a bit understaffed and busy, but were friendly and attentive both times I went.People really talk up the pad thai, but I didn't love it. I did get some other items that were really great and worth calling out:-Sweet Potato Fries with Worcestershire sour cream: Hard to make cohesive with other dishes, but it's worth it for that dip.-Coconut Curry Noodle with shrimp: I want to drown in this curry, flavor was excellent and the udon was really good quality. Shrimp is probably the right choice for all these dishes.-Spicy Green Curry with tofu: I was worried it would be too spicy but this was just right. Probably would not get it with tofu again since that was a bit bland/spongey.

I used to love coming here.Upstairs was full and went downstairs Wednesday night. It was a chill, cute vibe overall. The drinks were horrible. Not sure how a drink was managed to get made in less than a minute, and tasted like a watered down drink, I ordered a jalapeño margarita I believe. My friends drink was also watered down, and you couldn't taste any alcohol or even the type of drink it was meant to be. Just water. I was honestly disappointed.

Lunch set special is a great deal for a noodle dish and soup or edamame, with tea added for an additional few dollars. The Hobo Noodles were solid as far as Thai dishes go. I was particularly surprised by the miso soup and enjoyed the mushrooms in it. I'm sure there are other Thai establishments nearby with similar menus, and Lovely Day did not stand out as somewhere I would return to, especially since the service was near abysmal due to how understaffed the restaurant seemed. I practically had to beg for water and the waitress was nasty. It's in a great area and fun to people watch if you sit outside - just be careful because the wait staff might forget you're out there!

Beware they only take cash or Amex and expect you to use their ATM in the back! No signs or anything to inform you.

Food was great. Kitchen backlogged and dismissed by workers several times. Very small. Wouldn’t recommend going at a normal meal time. A headache… However, green curry was a hit!

Go here only if you have nowhere else to go or desperate. Service was awful...all the servers were over working...took us 30 mins to get napkins & pretty much anything we asked for there was a sigh. The guy server with the long bob haircut is condescending & rude. Thai people also don't eat with chopsticks but they were trying to have us eat curry with chopsticks. We sat in the outside booths & saw a rat run by . There was Thai chilis in the sauce that went with the chicken satay so we asked for Thai chili & the guy server with the bob haircut said no u cant have any on the side. Just a weird awkward experience with less than mediocre food. Wouldn't go back. Thai food is for spicy food lovers so let us have spice.
