Definitely divey, not too crowded, dark, 2 x pool tables $5 for 1 hour, good jukebox, weird bathroom, sloppy bar tender but not enough to be offended by, nice varied crowd of all ages. My fave bar in the E. Village.

An obligatory place on a party map of every Pole, a cult pub run by Polke for years, Mrs. Ludwika. The place is distinguished by a great atmosphere and an incredibly joyful and friendly service.

Awesome bar. Great drinks, even better bar tenders. Ivan's the best bar tender in the world. Very homey, comforting, and a definite go to.

2.5-3 stars but considering how rude everyone was here it's a 2. I had heard of Lucy's over the years and in my 20's. Although, no moment really sprung up to come by. Came in this weekend. Drinks are surprisingly not cheap for being all canned and bottled beer. I think pbr is the cheapest thing you can get and that's still $5. Which yes, that's cheap but it's also pbr which is basically worthless. Modello and some other bottled beers (nothing fancy) are about $7 and come out of a fridge in the middle of the room. A well drink will run you $14. The boxes that the beer comes out of are stacked all over the place near the bar. There's a few pool tables. Everyone here looks way too serious. Serious and pissed. One of our friends got snapped at by one of the bartenders for asking her how Lucy was doing. And she harshly responded with "You know, I'm really sick of people asking me that!" And same friend got literally shoved out of his seat by some thuggish looking bro that wanted to talk to a woman sitting up at the bar next to us. Didn't even say a word. He just shoved him over. Maybe it used to be a better run dive with the actual owner Lucy around but it just gave off giant dumpster fire vibes to me.

This place is soooo sick! The ambiance is amazing, so dive bar but in the best way possible. Dope old country music playing, it's cash only. Good size, wasn't too crowded either so that was nice I bet it gets hard to walk around sometimes. But the bar owner Lucy herself, has owned the place for 50 years. I think it just adds to the energy in the place the bartender were cool, got me taken care of as fast as possible appreciate that. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area n looking for a dope place to have some drinks with the homies.

This weekend my friend and I went around the LES playing pool at different bars. It was great. Until we got to Lucy’s. At Lucy’s, you pay $5 for 30 minutes of pool and the bartender adds your name to a list. It’s a great way to make sure no one monopolizes the pool tables. Well, unfortunately for my friend and I, an aggressive group refused to hand over the pool table when the bartender went over to let them know their time was up. The group at the pool table then started threatening us and yelled some really awful, sickening, ableist stuff about my friend (who has a disability). The bartender gave into the bullies. My friend is shaken up and hasn’t been subjected to ableist harassment like that in years. Guess what, Lucy’s? The way to be an ally is not to roll over for ableist bullies who threaten your peaceful patrons.

Someone came up to me and spit on my face here and the bartenders refused to help me. I called afterwards and the bartender was rude and unwillingly to help me or sympathize in any way: I will never go here again and will actively discourage anyone I know from ever going here. Insanely horrible experience.
