Best bakery in Chinatown. Make sure you get at least 3 sponge cakes (so fluffy and delicious). Other baked goods are good too - egg custards, cookies etc. Highly recommend. Great prices are just an added bonus!

Old school Chinatown bakery which still has old school prices (yay!). Standouts are the very classic egg tarts (flaky style crust), paper wrapped sponge cake, pineapple cupcake, and rustic red bean mooncakes available year round, as well as basic milk tea or coffee with light cream.

Stopped in walking by on Mulberry Street in Chinatown and picked out a sesame ball, and also an egg custard which was still warm! These treats were fantastic so I wonder about all the other offerings??!! Have to stop by again!
It is a Chinese bakery! They have Chinese pastries! I love Chinese bakeries and their goodies: pork bun, red or black bean buns. All not too sweet; they make a good snack. Love their coffee better than Starbucks. This place is a good example of what you can get.

When the other place sold out of egg custards after we called and asked and drove all the way there to find out they never even made any, and had no fortune cookies either so we found this little spot and they had it all! Lung Moon Bakery had it all, great customer service. I will be back!

9.14.19 - one of the best places to get baked goods in Chinatown NYC. The moon cakes, especially the black bean, is dope. Fluffy, not too sugary, and fresh!
