Everything about Lysée feels crafted thoughtfully and delicately -- from the space itself, to its tableware and desserts -- the visuals were just stunning on another level. We came with reservation and were seated in a private little alcove which felt so cute and special, and the service was excellent. I loved the unique combinations of flavors inspired from Korean cuisine. Among what we ordered, I most enjoyed the apple yuja tart and the sweet potato latte, but everything was delicious and beautifully presented! Can't wait to come back and try their other desserts. Recommend coming with others so you can share and try various menu items!

Cocky guy at the door. No table available before our reservation 20 min. later. But there were. Stupid attitude. Not worth the arrogance.

Incredible pastries! Go with a friend or two (reserve in advance) so you can taste & enjoy more items! The mille feuille for two is amazing, as is the koiugn amann. We pre-ordered several items online to take away, and I'm so glad we did: the "full moon" (which is like a cake-shaped croissant loaf), the KA rusks, and the teddy bears. Everything was delicious!Service was friendly. The seasonal lattes were quite good, but I should've stuck to water, to save room for pastries.

Keeping It Real Reviews

Reservations are highly recommended for this establishment. I appreciated the cozy and minimalistic interior design, which was reminiscent of Korean aesthetics. The sweets offered were both unique and delightful, and the service provided by the wait staff was commendable. However, the unconventional design of the tea cups proved to be problematic, with their tiny handles making it difficult to enjoy beverages without risking burns. Despite this flaw, the sweets themselves were enjoyable. We did encounter a longer-than-expected wait time for our desserts, which was surprising given that they are pre-made.While some of the pastries, such as the Yuja Cake, Chocolate/Almond Cake, and Carrot Cake, were average in taste, the Lysee sweet stood out as particularly delicious. It's worth noting that individual pastries can cost between $15 and $20.

Expensive, but worth it. The pastries are beautiful. I recommend handling them with care if you're ordering to go most of them are delicate. The corn cake is so unique and delicious!

The best and most unique items were the corn and the signature lysée cake. The tart was quite good too, but I don't think it was the most unique item you could get at this exceptionally high price point (that shouldn't discourage anyone who's curious, it's still quite good and different from the other items on the menu). Because it's so pricey for the portion size and not exceptionally superior to other kinds of pretty-good sweet foods you can get in the city, I wouldn't go here again just to have the pastries; I would, if anything, sit down here with a friend who also loves fussy little foods or bring these as a very nice gift for a small gathering on a special occasion.

Great quality pastries made with dedication. Fusion between Korean and french. Prices are on the higher end, but worth it, as one gets high

Tried the signature tasting menu. The corn cake was really good. The yuzu tart was great too. Overall delightful but not too impressive. The first two courses had very similar interior texture and flavors. I’d only come back for the yuzu tart.

The pastries looked amazing, but the tastes and textures just did not live up to the looks.

Goodies run out very quickly but most of them are still available by the end of the day.If it’s your first time here, go with Vick, Corn and Lysee. I would highly recommend getting Mille Feuille which is good for 2 and it’s out of this world. I get myself lysee madeleine and a signature brown rice to wrap up the day on the best note.A little pricey, but the quality has been very consistent. Good for once a month or two visit.
