We loved dining at Mari Vanna. The food was delicious, service was great and the atmosphere was perfect.
Such a fun and memorable dinner in NYC. Mari Vanna feels like stepping into someone's wonderfully eccentric Russian grandmother's home, cozy, quirky and full of character. The food was excellent. We loved the herring under a fur coat, borscht, veal pelmeni and golubtsy, and finished by sharing the Napoleon. My friend and I absolutely loved this place. The food was really authentic — just like in Russia — and the decor was pretty. We also got really invested in the Soviet movies they were projecting on the wall. Probably the best Russian restaurant in NYC :)
