Food was delicious and flavorful. I can especially highlight the duck tacos. Best dry pot in the city! Mell was super helpful with recommendations.

The food was incredible and Julian helped us pick all of it! The dry pot is a must, and the xiangxi fried rice was my favorite

Tasty spicy Chinese food, real MaLA. Mell provided me with attentive and excellent service. Good dining experience for locals and tourists who want to venture out into MaLa world.

The food was fine. Basically highway robbery for the upcharge on vegetables especially ($60 on one bowl mainly of vegetables, no meat). Tofu was not very tasty (even the five spice version). Service was not great, and I even feel I could have walked out of the restaurant with an unpaid bill without any of the staff noticing. Possibly a staff shortage problem. I was weary about the ‘C’ health rating but still decided to try this spot since my friend really wanted to. Should have trusted my gut, because as soon as I left the restaurant I felt incredibly sick. Would not go back, but maybe we just went in on a bad day.

I love Mala Project and have been many times. The food is always tasty and I love being able to customize my dry pot. However, when I went on July 24th, both my friend and I got food poisoning. We had met up for dinner at Mala Project, and afterwards we both had stomachaches and felt very nauseous. This was the only food we shared so it's pretty easy to pinpoint that our dry pot here had made us sick. It's really unfortunate because I've had such great experiences at Mala Project in the past, but I don't know if I'm going to be back.

Food and vibes were great but both my friend and I got food poisoning afterwards (I’m a physician). We got the pot to share and symptoms were definitely more than just food being spicy. Suspect undercooked or spoiled ingredient
