Busy space near Grand Central. Was louder than I remember. Waiter was nice but service in general was very slow. Food was just okay. Drinks were better.
Our only problem was the noise level. Everything else was terrific. Most delicious mussels ever.
Always a reliable dinner spot in Midtown. Buzzy ambiance, excellent service and a delicious menu that doesn't break the bank. We had the Roast Chicken, Chicken Paillard and salmon. All delicious.
The menu offers a wide range of options, the food is well prepared, nicely presented, portion sizes are large, and the ambience pleasing. All of this makes Madison & Vine "a find", particularly in this part of Manhattan. BUT, what is really outstanding is the staff. They are friendly, professional, very attentive and exceptionally helpful. A member of our party was an older individual and the staff took note, keeping an eye to correct anything that would lessen the experience. Thank you.
Delightful! I am addicted to the Mushroom Bisque! This is the first time I have come for brunch (usually I come for dinner or cocktails at the bar) and I was not disappointed. The waiters are friendly, helpful and not pushy. The food is consistent and delicious.
High quality food with great service. If you are looking for a nice Italian restaurant close to grand central this is the place to be
The dinning experience was outstanding! The place is beautifully decorated and the service was excellent. There were four of us and we all found the food to be delicious. Our waiter took great care of us. Highly recommend.
I've eaten here many times and I'm never disappointed. Excellent staff, food, and cocktails.
Smallish, attractive venue which made the noise level a bit too loud for us on a busy Thursday night. Regardless, the food (steak and chicken entrées) and service were good. We would go again, but perhaps on a slower night.
Good Food Close to Grand Central Station. Tables are close together. Can be Noise for conversation—a good value for the money. The menu has something for everyone. The staff is very attentive.

We were delighted that we chose this restaurant after getting some work done at the NYPL. William was our waiter and he was fantastic! He had that rare ability to know when we wanted something, without ever hovering over us. Perfection! He was also very good managing both of our food allergies.
The drinks and food were delicious. And the atmosphere was wonderful--calm, quiet, beautiful. All in all we could not have asked for a better experience!
