Madison and Vine is a little jewel of a restaurant in NYC! The staff is excellent, food is fabulous and atmosphere very welcoming. Highly recommend.
Burger is way too greasy! chicken sandwich was delish. great banana pudding. lovely service. warm and cozy atmosphere.
We enjoyed our Thanksgiving meal and dessert so much! The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the waitstaff was excellent. We will definitely go back on future trips to NYC!
Fabulous restaurant, service brilliant, amazing food. Could not fault it at all, if had found this the first night would have eaten there more.
Simple cheeseburger overworked and tough, missing the famous spicy mayo they raved about. French fried barely warm. Took a long time to get the food. The wait staff were lovely but could not compensate for the quality of the food and the wait.
Excellent service and the food was delicious. I would definitely go back there again and refer your restaurant to my friends.
Our female waitress was not friendly. We tried to flag her for more water several times but she was busy hanging out with the bartender. Thankfully two male waiters finally came around. They are not flexible on accommodating any adjustments or special requests to the menu. My husband's meal was good. Mine was the chicken Milanese and was bland because they gave me balsamic vinegar instead of balsamic glaze so it made the chicken soggy. I'm mostly giving a fair rating due to the waitress not making it a good experience. The atmosphere is nice but there were only 3 tables filled.
The service was excellent, but unfortunately my “Wagu Short Rib Pasta” wasn't very good. The meat was tough and fatty plus the sauce was below par. I was very disappointed
A great spot near Grand Central Station. Exterior scaffolding is all around that corner as of Nov 2025. The service and food were great! It is a loud crowded place as most NYC places are.... It has a long bar to wait or eat at and outside dinning if warm.
+ Great staff, location, decor, and ambiance - just ok brunch ingredient freshness (Brunch-specific) Consideration: * If hungry and location with good staff is top priority, then this is a good place * If you want a meal better than what one could cook at home or want fresh ingredients, maybe have a think
Restaurantji Recommends
Food was adequate. Service was exceedingly slow - perhaps because it was the weekend lunchtime and little staff at that hour. Room is pleasant. Staff was very pleasant. Asked that my Cobb salad be finely chopped but it came in chunks
This is the second time I have eaten at this restaurant when visiting New York. The food was so good and the wait staff very friendly. The restaurant is small and quaint and loved the ambiance. Feels like a French bistro. Highly recommend.
I love the food the coffee the breakfast. The people that works there are so humble 100% Recomend. It.
Great brunch and, having arrived early, we could talk and we're not rushed. Great service and food.
Beautiful September day to enjoy a meal at Madison and Vine. Food was excellent !! Flat bread with goat cheese was mouth watering !
