I love magnolia bakery banana pudding but this location for some reason has really runny whipped cream and does not justify how it usually tastes. I went back and let them know the consistency was off and they gave me another one but it seemed like that was from the same batch. Please avoid going to this location. Go to Venchi next door instead if you’re really looking for dessert

I was really excited to try the coconut cake and it was a huge disappointment. The marshmallowy frosting was delicious, but the actual cake was dry and stale.

The different cheesecakes are always delicious. There are only deductions for the points here for the uncomfortable chairs on the patio and the lady behind the counter, which her good mood had probably used up earlier in the day.

The women working here on the morning of April 7 were just the worst I’ve ever experienced in all of the city. Horrible attitudes. So rude. I will never return. I just wanted a coffee. I asked if they had anything gluten free and they scowled at me and said no. Then I said that’s fine and asked for cream it seemed like I was really putting them out. Then they were rude to my friend after that and started arguing with her about the cream, even though she had asked for room for cream in hers. They said you have to ask for that ahead of time and I was like well. Is there a sign that tells you what you’re supposed to do here I’ve never been here before? Then they both started yelling at us and one of them told me to go to Starbucks and I was like gladly I will never return here. I should’ve gone to Starbucks in the first place apparently. It’s like they were just waiting to fight with some one. I just needed caffeine. The coffee wasn’t even good. So disappointing - especially in an area of the city that should be well represented by people that are friendly and accommodating.

This location is busier than the one I went to in a different part of nyc. You also can’t just grab a pudding from a fridge and then go pay for it and have to wait in a longer line that way. However, the quality of the carrot cake special pudding was amazing and there’s also a nice plaza and seating along this area.

Highly recommend the iconic banana pudding. The key lime cheese cake was great too!

This place is worth the hype! I have been eyeing this place for years and got the Red Velvet Cheesecake. It was so delicious!
You can tell you’re eating a cheesecake - and the “red velvet“-yness is very much there - yet the texture is mind-blowingly fluffy, like whipped cream. The earthy chocolate crust underneath is the perfect balance to the tartness of the cheesecake, and the actual whipped cream atop is the “cherry” on top.
If anything, prices are incredibly steep here, so be prepared to spend more than $8 for a cheesecake!

I ordered the banana pudding from this location and it was so bad. Completely liquid and melted texture. I don't even understand how this happens because it's supposed to be whipped and airy, not liquid. Other locations are good clearly not this one though.
I just bought the pistachio banana pudding. The texture is completely liquid consistency. And there are NO chocolate chips.
Waste of my money and it's so expensive. I'm so disappointed.
DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. I don't know what they are doing here. It is terrible.
I've had cakes from here before and they are cold and stale.
Can’t get enough…

The only thing that I tried was the banana pudding but I thinks is worth everything, is amazing and the texture is something I know for sure you didn’t try it. (You have to like banana)
