Got a vanilla cake, bought it home and notice it was BAD.
Spoke to the manger WILL the next day about the cake being hard and dry. He told me to bring the slice of cake back because it’s not fresh. He must be kidding me??? He couldn’t offer me a cake right there and then.
So I bought the cake back and going back for the THIRD TIME. He simply just gave me a replacement, not even a complimentary / refund!

Another iconic food spot in New York that definitely lives up to its reputation! We decided to try their famous banana pudding, and it’s absolutely worth a taste. The flavor was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. If you’re visiting New York, this is a dessert you should absolutely add to your must-try list—it truly captures the essence of comfort food done right.

While we didn’t try anything else on the menu, the other items didn’t particularly stand out visually. That said, the focus here seems to be on their signature banana pudding, and they certainly deliver on that front.

The only downside? The price. At around six dollars for a very small portion, it does feel a bit steep. The serving size is truly tiny, and if you’re looking for something more substantial, you might be left wanting. Still, the quality and flavor make it worth the splurge, especially if you’re a fan of banana-based desserts.

Overall, it’s a spot I’d recommend for anyone visiting the city. While it might not become your go-to for value, it’s a fun indulgence that captures a little slice of what makes New York food culture so unique!

My daughter ordered 3 slices of cake to be delivered. That happened quickly and the delivery person was very nice. But the cake?
Stale, dry (the underside less dry) clearly pre cut at least a day ago. What a disappointment.

They are not organized, don't have their stuff together and then get mad at you for not saying your order fast enough when you have to repeat it for the fourth time. You might want to check your takeout order before you leave, you're not dealing with the brightest here. They are rude and easily irritated.

Friendly staff and quick service. Tried fully loaded icebox bar (very sweet) and banana pudding. Hot drinks were good, cold drinks were too sweet.

Disappointing. Coffee literally frozen, with the cold these days it is unforgivable. The red velvet was dry so it was obviously old. The only good thing was the cheesecake. The worst USD 27 spent in NY.

Banana pudding and vanilla cheesecake would both feature on my last meal if possible. That initial taste of both knocked my socks off, and I have cheesecake a lot! We returned the next day for more, and even brought some home to the UK. Staff were super friendly apart from onetall young lady who wasa little stern shouting "next customer please" with a sour look on her face, maybe just having a bad day? Will be back, dreaming of my next visit!

It's a shame there are few seats, everything is truly delicious, perfect for both breakfast and a snack.

We got a cheesecake from him, it was very delicious, and the chocolate cake was delicious
