Our first stop for lunch arriving in the city. Chicken Alfredo pasta with broccoli is a must for our teen. The chicken panini with herb mayo and chocolate layer cake hits the spot every time. Friendly, helpful staff make it a joy to visit the Majestic Diner any time we are in the city.

Got the famous pastrami toastie for $31 USD. It's delicious and packed with meat. You could split between two people or if you're really hungry, finish the whole thing yourself!

The food itself was fine—we had a chicken Caesar salad, a wrap, and a pre-made sandwich from the refrigerator. Everything tasted okay, nothing wrong with the quality. But the pricing felt off, even for New York.
I considered the pastrami at nearly $30 but opted for a pre-made turkey sandwich instead at $18. What I got was two thin slices of turkey with minimal lettuce and tomato—basic at best.
I'm not complaining about New York prices in general....
