I visited this place after seeing it on TikTok, I was craving some good fish and thought I’d give it a try. Honestly, I didn’t have any expectations, but the entire experience turned out to be an incredible surprise.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear they recognized we were tourists, and they welcomed us with such warmth and hospitality. They took the time to explain the menu and help us choose our dishes, which we really appreciated.
The service was fast, and before our actual order arrived, they brought out three generous tasting plates so we could sample a variety of flavors. At first, I thought that was our full order, it was that impressive! Then came our main dishes, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The shrimp in particular were unforgettable, so fresh and flavorful.
If there were more than 5 bubbles to give, I absolutely would. The food, the people, the atmosphere, everything was extraordinary. A truly heartwarming and tasty experience. Highly recommended!

I really wish I could give this spot 20 stars. Truly everything I ordered was sooooo good. Fresh and made to order. I can’t say one bad thing because it’s nothing else to say but give them a try. This is a cash only business with an ATM on site. I went with the fried catfish, Mac and cheese plus greens. The sweet tea was perfectly sweet. Customer service was excellent. I would go all the way back to Harlem from DMV just to get some more.

My first time here yesterday 7/22 WHEN I SAY EVERYTHING WAS PHENOMENAL the fish I got whitting was flavored good and fried crispy the Mac and cheese was delicious and I also had grits so good 😊 and you get a lot of food

I cannot find one thing to complain about🤷🏽♂️that fish $ chip was delicious 😋 than even gave more that enough condiments: Tatar sauce, ketchup and hot sauce. Came with 4 pieces of whitey and crinkle fries which I absolutely love.

We Went out to Make My Fish for the first time today yum 😋 I saw it on IG it’s all that 💯👍🏼 we where welcomed and we enjoyed our meals and the fruit punch amazing nothing nowhere like it💯💯💯 A MUST GO also great prices 💯

My first and last time getting food here ! First my sister did a order online before they open the gate. Supposedly it open at 11:30am but that wasn't the case. The other was made by 11:20am, we waited for the notification for our food to be ready nothing. It went past 12pm and nothing my sister decided to go in and check for the order, they made her wait about 40 mins for something that was order before. Then the orders were all mixed up and they also forgot to give the yams we order. First and last time, definitely over hype.
food was really good! even when it was cold, the fish still had a little crispness to it. my only concern was the amount of oil that the fish gets cooked in, i had heart burn the next morning.

One good thing I can say about this place is that they have good customer service. the owner was flirting with me. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing however I would not eat the food. It's way too greasy. The potato salad taste like Karen made it. The collard greens taste like a bowl of heartburn (my heart burn people get my point). The sweet potatoes taste like the red flavor of Kool-Aid with extra sugar.
Please don't let my review stop anyone from eating there. It's just a review.

Been coming to Make my Fish for quite sometime and love thier fish and all the seafood but I would be wrong to not address the elephant in the room. They customer service when placing your order has got to Get BETTER and Quickly!! No matter who they have working it’s always an attitude- frown on a stone face get mad when you want your food a certain way / like crispy fish or smaller chicken wings. Don’t make no sense you MAD and I just got there - I’m tired - take my money and want to support your Black Establishment and you Mad for WHAT!! It ain’t right !!! The food was horrible because the service was horrible !! Point Blank !!! Asked for smaller wings PLEASE… and gave me the turkey wings on PURPOSE!!! Tired of spending my money and get treated like Nobody! Like my money and others who come to support our Black People’s don’t matter . STRAIGHTEN UP AND FLY RIGHT!! I LOVE YOU can I GET SOME LOVE!!
