Food was nice, service a bit lacklustre and two cockroaches appeared by other diners feet... wouldn't go back.

One of my favorite restaurant in the village
Oh man! What a nice place!
From the wine, the dishes and the desserts, these guys know what they are doing!
The wine list is simple and great, the service is great and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed!!!

Best Italian in West Village! Great staff and must get the lasagna.
Good food, nice staff, cute vibes! Would recommend the prosciutto pizza & the pappardelle.

Malaparte was awesome! Monday night of Labor Day we strolled in. Wonderful wait staff who greeted us with a big smile and were happy to see us. Awesome lasagna and salmon. A great peach and arugula salad. We topped it off with some Amara and two scoops of gelato. Heavenly. A perfect neighborhood spot. And with the garage doors open on to the street it was magic. Go!

Very European vibe and delicious and light food options. I enjoyed the restaurant and outdoor seating on a warm summer night. Super casual but is tucked away and felt like I was on vacation in a small euro town. I really enjoyed the wine selection and the overall atmosphere! The food itself was a great portion, not too big but not too small either. The just right amount to feel satisfied

The lasagna was solid but nothing special. It’s tucked away in a corner of West Village, so the ambience is quiet. The hostess did seat me with the sun directly in my eyes, so it was hard to talk and see my food.

The rigatoni al pesto was way too salty, not worth the price

I recently visited this restaurant in New York and was blown away. I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Mauro, whom I first got to know at Antica Pesa – he’s incredibly talented. The restaurant itself is simple and unpretentious, but the food is absolutely superb. Every dish is full of flavor and clearly prepared with skill and passion. A must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Italian cuisine.

This place is mid at best. First of all, neglectful staff. Hostess doesn’t care about the comfort of her patrons. Half of my meal I was blinded by sunlight. The restaurant was completely empty and they didn’t offer to move us. Instead they asked me to move my chair so as not to block a path that no server was traveling down. I had to ask for pepper and Parmesan. Neither were fresh and the carbonara was not tasty. The salad was also too salty. It’s unfortunate to pay over 25 dollars for a pasta that doesn’t taste good. The lemonade was decent but I would hope so at $7 a glass.

Absolutely fantastic. It was a beautiful day, so we ate at a table on the sidewalk. Every bite of food was amazing. We got the calamari as an appetizer and various pastas for mains. Mine was the spaghetti alle vonghole (with claims), and it was impeccable. Our server was lovely and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our meal. Can't wait to come back.

The food was really good, and the hostess was very kind to let us change tables three times
This was the best experience and food I’ve had in a long time! We had 8 of us and did family style and every meal that came out was absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend trying this place!
