Mangia on 57th street is one of my favorite places and now even more so. I was unsure it would be open yesterday during the store. But, Mangia was open and the staff was very kind and helpful. I had breakfast and a cappuccino and it was great. Throughout the years Mangia has maintained provided great food.
How great it is to know you can count on you to be there on my journey as I walked to my appointment.

Food ★★★★☆ — Tasty Italian classics: fresh salads, pasta primavera, and panini were flavorful and generous.
Service ★★☆☆☆ — Friendly but slow during peak lunch rush.
Atmosphere ★★★★☆ — Bright, clean Midtown space—great for quick bites or takeout.
Solid Italian spot for work lunches—good value!

Best lunch spot with delicious, fresh, healthy food
I love Mangia! The food is always excellent, the atmosphere is fun and a lunch won't break the bank!
Very nice place to eat. Few but excellent choices for every type of preference. From salads to pasta.
The flavor is delicious !

Mangia is one of my favorite lunch spots when I want variety without sacrificing quality. The lunch buffet is genuinely excellent—everything tastes fresh, well-prepared, and thoughtfully seasoned. There’s a great range of options, so you can keep it light or build a very satisfying plate, and nothing feels like filler. It’s the kind of place where you can tell ingredients actually matter, and that makes all the difference. A reliable, delicious go-to for a really good lunch.

When for breakfast at 9:11 am and it was already finished. A rude employee told me that there was nothing at all to eat for breakfast.
Great quality and selection

DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE CELIAC OR ANY FOOD SENSITIVITIES. I ordered a chicken cobb salad (which is labeled gluten free) and I got halfway through the salad before finding a stray crouton. I got very sick from the cross contamination. Management was very unconcerned and hung up on me. My boss even called on my behalf because I had to leave work early and they hung up on her too. They are very unapologetic and unconcerned. They have refused to reimburse me for my meal even though their food made me very sick.

Great food. Never a place to sit. Not enough seating and people tend to linger after eating! Trash bins always full or people leave trash in tables.

Such a wide range of some of the best tasting salads with fresh high-quality ingredients I’ve had in NYC in a while. Solid sandwiches, delicious, robust, coffee. All reasonably priced. The salads were so good. I bought another container full for later.
And a lovely small sit down area worthy of mini meetings that does get packed fast. At 11 AM there were plenty of seats by 11:30 AM no seats left.

Food is probably good. I don’t know. I live in Dallas, so that might be part of the reason. I wanna go to New York one day. But I’m a little scared.

It was very busy at lunch time, but the stations were very clean, the line moved remarkably fast and the cashiers were very nice. And the food was good!
