WOW!! Amazing experience. The warm welcome at the door and the beautiful atmosphere upon arrival was sensational. The service was impeccable and the food was outstanding. I love a creative veggie heavy menu. In my opinion there are a lot of restaurants who do the basics when it comes to vegetables dishes, Manuela has knocked it out of the park. The wine list was truly beautiful and well curated for the menu, very knowledgeable wine pro’s who helped us pick out the perfect Grüner. I can’t stop telling people how great my experience was. To the Manuela team, well done. We will be back!

Our meal was excellent. We followed waiter recommendations and ordered things we normally wouldn’t have. Food, service, and cocktails were outstanding. Highly recommend.

Wonderful food - creative and fresh take on flavor combinations but still balanced and delicious. Super staff: from wait staff to hosts all are warm, welcoming and professional. Ambiance is above and beyond - ArtFarm has knocked it out of the park - it is such an important concept that you have created and are promoting; a perfect artistic crossroad of cuisine, culture and community. I will be back soon and also hope to have a private party in your beautiful space. Best to all of you.

Absolutely want to give props to the playlist with a flow of Solange, Tupac and even some Acid Jazz. The music was top tier.

Now on to the food which was DELICIOUS. I can appreciate a nicely curated menu and this spot didn’t disappoint.
-Chicken in the white bbq sauce was chefs kiss. Skin was perfectly crisp and the chicken was moist…don’t forgot to squeeze that lemon on top.
-Cream Biscuits served with a butter and ham was the Beyoncé of the night. These biscuits were made with love and layered with goodness. So good we ordered another round for the table.
-The roasted cauliflower and potatoes were the perfect accompaniment to the chicken. The date vinegar on the cauliflower was insanely good. I also had a chance to taste the Sunchokes side and was blown away…def cop!
-the Crudo and Albacore dip were underwhelming
-drinks also underwhelming. I had the Bohemian Boulevard and La Pera Loca

Service was top notch from the host to the runners. I was extremely impressed with the table service (pre bussing, resetting, water service). Also the fine dining touches didn’t go unnoticed (folding the napkins when the guest leave, coat check and food wrap-up pick up at the end of service) and I appreciated that as well.

FYI the place is a little pricey but in my opinion I believe it’s worth every dime. I’ll be back.

The waiter was really nice but giving us too many options when we asked for the favorites. The drinks took a bit too long. I love the interior and the food was delicious.

The interior of this restaurant is beautiful, artistic and unique. I’ve added a star to the experience for this reason alone. Unfortunately food is not worth the price. I found everything to either be “fine” or “not great” - my favorite dish was the cauliflower. The apple pie sadly was the worst apple pie I have ever had and cost $19 for a slice. The pastry was overworked, burnt and way too salty. The apples were undercooked. It was a huge disappointing end to an average meal and it cost a small fortune.

This is what I would imagine the food in a suburb of Ohio might taste like -> bland and surprisingly not artful for the concept

Beyond the thick black and yellow velvet curtains, you enter a restaurant worthy of a gallery exhibit at the MoMA. We started with drinks at the bar sitting underneath mushroom chandeliers. We later entered the buzzy dining room and feasted albacore dip, chicken and cauliflower. Those were the standouts and there was so much more to try. There is was a delay in our food due to a large private event, and the service we received from Latoya the GM went above and beyond. With just a few weeks under their belt, they are crushing it. I can't wait to return and try the rest of the menu. Thank you Latoya and team for making our evening so special. We'll be back soon!!! Oh and I forgot about the biscuits. Those are a must!

Manuela restaurant opened in SoHo, NYC, a few weeks ago, and my husband and I took our family of six for dinner. Founded by Manuela and Iwan Wirth, the creators of the Hauser & Wirth galleries worldwide, Manuela’s Los Angeles location is renowned for its farm-to-table cuisine, exceptional cocktails, and curated wine list. Naturally, we were thrilled to try the SoHo outpost—and it exceeded our expectations.
The restaurant’s interior is a masterpiece in itself, showcasing an impressive collection of artworks by esteemed artists from across the U.S. and Europe. One standout was Mika Rottenberg’s chandelier, with beams of light shining through mushroom-like colored orbs—truly unique and inspiring. The bronze spider and the long dining table in the private dining room were equally remarkable and added to the space's artistic allure.
The food was equally impressive. For appetizers, we had cream biscuits with country ham and Steen’s butter, coal-roasted oysters with Jimmy Nardello butter, Long Island fluke crudo, and farm lettuce with aged red wine and radish. Each dish was beautifully prepared and delicious. For our main courses, we tried the red kuri squash with stracciatella and urfa oil, grilled swordfish with sumac and guindilla peppers, snowdance farm half chicken with chile de arbol and white BBQ sauce, and an 18oz ribeye with bone marrow and green peppercorns. The ribeye was perfectly tender and flavorful, while half chicken somehow managed to be both crispy and tender.
We also ordered butterball potatoes, roasted cauliflower, and grilled caraflex cabbage as sides—all were exceptional. Even my husband, who typically avoids vegetables, couldn’t stop raving about them. The drink menu was equally impressive, with a thoughtful selection of cocktails, beer, and a select list of wines that paired beautifully with the meal.

Manuela in SoHo is a true gem, seamlessly blending art, ambiance, and culinary excellence. My husband and I can’t wait to return on our next trip to New York City.
