The food and drinks are delicious and perfectly portioned (we loved that there are vegetarian options and accommodations), the staff are sharp, attentive and friendly, and the overall warm, positive vibes make you not want to leave. Chef Murphy was also wonderful to share a conversation with!

Overall, it was a really lovely experience! The food was delicious, very approachable and prepared to perfection. Our server was super friendly and attentive. As an added touch, Chef Marc stopped by our table to introduce himself. He was incredibly down to earth and sincere. The whole vibe was easy going and all about good food, done well. First offered bar seats (because “some parties grew in size”) before being told there is room upstairs. Ordered a cocktail and not once did the server check on us during the entire meal. Would have ordered another drink if someone actually asked. Chicken was disgustingly dry and flavorless.

This was our first visit to 179 Marc and we are looking forward to future dining experiences at this restaurant. We loved the 4 course dinner for $95. It was well worth it. The ambience was wonderful from the lighting to the music. We had first class service and even got to meet Chef Marc. We also were happy to see a lot of 1/2 bottles of wine on the menu which gave us the opportunity to try more than one wine during the course of the meal. Definitely worth a visit to this restaurant and venue

Run don't walk! I've been twice now and both times have been epic experiences. The food is prepared with joy and passion that is evident in every bite. The wait staff is incredibly attentive and kind. The ambience, sublime. What a wonderful time. Will be back for sure.

My daughter couldn't make it and that wasn't a problem at all. I sat at the bar for my meal and had many conversations with people grabbing drinks while they waited for the rest of their party. There was also a couple that had been going since the beginning of their relationship and the original restaurant, always sitting at the bar. That was really cool. The bartender was amazing. I hope she'll be there again. Marc making the rounds, talking to people is definitely one of the highlights, but seriously... the food. It's really just amazing.

It's a limited menu but nice balance, and Chef Marc Murphy always has a substitute for someone with allergies or dislikes. Scallop appetizer was simple and delicious. The short ribs entree was as good as any I've had. Great experience for the price, and served by a celebrity chef, which truly makes this a unique, value-added experience.
