I came across Marc179 on Instagram. I've been to Landmarc years ago, so I was excited to try this new "pop-up". I made a reservation online, but I guess depending on the day and time, walk-ins can be accommodated. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. This month's menu included asparagus mimosa (no it's not a drink), spring pea risotto (I'm not the biggest fan of peas, but I loved this dish) and the star, a braised lamb shank. I don't know why they gave you a knife for it because it was SO tender. For dessert, there was a rhubarb pavlova. I'm not big on rhubarb so the intense tartness was a bit much for me, but it paired well with the pistachio. The cocktails were also well made and paired with the food nicely. All in all, it was a great night, and I'd come back again next month to see the new menu.Dietary restrictions: They ask before serving and can accommodate for allergies and religious needs.

Refined simplicity is the best description of Chef Marc Murphy's food at Marc 179. When speaking with him after dinner, he said his goal is to take simple classic ingredients and elevating them and that's exactly what he did. Simply amazing.

Dining at Marc's pop up, Marc 179 was an incredible experience. The food was simple but delicious, the service and ambience were awesome and it felt intimate which is hard to find in NYC. Can't wait to go back!

Highlights from the menu were: rosemary and parmesan polenta and thyme roasted mushrooms, chocolate gelato with sea salt and extra virgin olive oil His crew was attentive Marc Murphy himself was humble and kind. Truly cultivated the evening for us The entire experience was worth it!

Chef Marc presented a 4 course menu at a fixed price in the famous Landmark Tavern. The highlight for us was the Pork Belly Porchetta with crispy skin was delicious. Greeted by our host and sat at downstairs dining room, music fit the ambiance of the space - mid range modern with a low light effect, Very Romantic. If I worked in the corporate would highly recommend Restaurant MM as a event destination. For now we will take advantage of the pop up and hope for more to come from Chef Marc.
