Absolute must visit. The best food and service in the city. The menu was creative and absolutely delicious. The entire staff is amazing.
Dining at Marc179 last night was the kind of experience that reminds you why chef‑driven restaurants matter. The setting itself is intimate—low lighting, warm wood, and a layout that makes the room feel personal rather than crowded. But what truly sets the evening apart is having Chef Marc Murphy right there in the room, moving between the kitchen and guests with the kind of presence that makes the meal feel curated, intentional, and deeply human.

This is my first multi course meal, so I may be limited in my comparison, but this food was delightful. Every item brought out of the kitchen was delicious, and the chef and staff alike would come to our table to talk. Everyone was friendly, and I left feeling super content and satisfied by the end of the night. This place is only open a few days a month with a different menu each month. The atmosphere is described as sexy, complemented by wonderful lighting and music, creating a sublime ambience with warm, positive vibes. The staff, known for their friendly and professional service, turn each evening into a memorable occasion. Chef Marc, who greets guests and ensures their comfort, was also wonderful to share a conversation with and incredibly down to earth and sincere. The restaurant accommodates walk-ins depending on the day and time and takes dietary restrictions seriously, with the staff able to handle allergies and religious needs, and they loved that there are vegetarian options and accommodations. Additionally, the menu includes many 1/2 bottles of wine, allowing guests to try different wines during their meal. The food and drinks are delicious and perfectly portioned, approachable and prepared to perfection, with well-made cocktails that pair nicely with the food. Overall, Marc179 provides a delightful dining experience, making it a venue worth visiting again and again.
