"WARNING!" Their prices are from $15 to $16.50 & up for their small plate of food. You can get the same plate of food for half the costs from your local connecting borough's Spanish Restaurant.
I got the Sancocho, which is a hearty soup with different types of meats and and starches. I usually live this soup but unfortunately this soup was so salty it was almost inedible. The only bright spot of my experience was the staff, they were super friendly and very pleasant

Been here many times for their entrees, and they're all so good. However, first and last time getting their mangu, it's blended not mashed so the texture is completely off.

A bit chaotic for the food is worth it. The sandwiches are great and much better than street vendors. It’s tight inside but at the back there’s some space.

This was by far one of our fav places we ate on our trip to NYC! My partner brought us here based on the google reviews and we were not disappointed! As soon as we walked in several staff greeted us and immediately asked what we’d like to eat. We each got a Cubano and it was absolutely delicious.
If you want an excellent meal in an incredibly authentic restaurant with very friendly staff, this is the spot.

Good local spot for Spanish food. I always get the Cuban sandwich, I need to try the other items. They have a full spread from bake chicken to beef stew and roast pork with everything in between.

A highlight for our trip. Some of the most genuine, caring service we've received. Quality food and surprisingly good coffee. A must visit.

Excellent food, full of flavour and spice, reasonably priced, served with love and a smile. So glad I discovered and tried this place and I'll surely come back next time I'm in NY.
