What an amazing experience. Everything was topnotch. Hot chocolate was out of this world and mini sandwiches were amazing.

This is probably the best hot cocoa we have ever had. The service was absolutely amazing. We were early for our reservation..but they still seated us...even said what about this table, it will be more cozy for you two. They let us sample the white chocolate hot chocolate... which was so good! They do not sell the white chocolate hot chocolate so make sure you try it! I wish I could remember the name of our server...he was the absolute best, so funny and kind! Mariebelle is a must stop on our trips to New York from now on!!

It was a wonderful experience! Johnny was great recommending options to order. We had the quiche, Aztec hot chocolate and the scones. They were delicious! The shop was so beautifully decorated and the chocolates were scrumptious. Such a lovely place! Will definitely go again!

Such a lovely spot! I had their Aztec-style hot chocolate, and it was absolutely delicious — rich, smooth, and comforting. The service is sincere and kind, and I really appreciate that they let you take your time to enjoy without any rush or pressure to leave. The decor is classy and elegant, especially during the Christmas season — so festive and cozy! I came here solo and felt completely comfortable and relaxed. A perfect place to unwind in SoHo.

This was a splurge of a treat while in NY and absolutely worth it. The drinks and food were truly fantastic. I ordered the afternoon tea and found it to be more than enough for 1...my daughter and husband each got the quiche and loved it. I recommended to my local friends as a lovely thing to do, and I would say the same for visitors. It was a really special experience.

Reservations are a must (at least when we were there -Saturday of a holiday weekend). People were walking in and getting turned away!

First time at the Cacao Bar. We arrived and saw it was pretty fancy, we expected it from a place that seemed to need a reservation. We were impressed, a really good place for tea time with friends or a fancy chocolate date. There was a couple who also showed up as a walk in, I don't think they were able to be seated because the reservations had been filled. There was a table waiting for us at our reserved time and all other tables were full. Throughout our whole stay the place was never empty, so the reservation was certainly well needed. We got two hot chocolates and a chocolate fondue. Since everything was full, the waiter took a little bit of time to come attend us. We were greeted right away and were sat. We were asked if we wanted to move the table away from the wall to be more comfortable which was appreciated. We were also given free samples of hot chocolate to hold us over while we waited. We were brought water after that to help as a palette cleanser. The hot chocolate took a little bit to arrive, but it was so rich and delicious it took us all the little dinner to finish it. We relished every sip. The chocolate fondue was wonderful for two, there was a cornucopia of fruit (apples, strawberries, grapes, blueberries, bananas, kiwis). We were asked multiple times if we had allergies or any food restrictions, they took that very seriously, which was nice. Although the service was a little slow due to how busy it was, the food was well worth it, delicious, at a great price, reasonable, and filling. Would highly recommend. Will go from a nice date with my wife to bringing the Monday Night Movie Crew to have some hot chocolate, fruit, and sweets! It was a blast! :)

Afternoon tea was wonderful. Come hungry with a lot of time. The chocolate rose tea was unique and the scones, soup, sandwiches, and desert were all delicious
