Martha Stewart & Marley Spoon

Just horrible, horrible customer service. Would not recommend.

The meals are excellent! The problem can be delivery….twenty four hours late with spoiled food. when you contact them about the problem via their customer service app, there is an incredibly slow response time. Last time I gave up and called and the person on the phone Refunded the box. This time I am waiting to see how long it takes them to respond before I have to give up and call for a box that cost me $125 and arrive spoiled.
ETA: They have since addressed their shipping issues and food arrives on time and COLD. Marley Spoon is about the only decent meal kit service with plenty of options and creative dishes.

This place is a scam! Don't waste your time or money. The box they sent was missing everything! I paid them over $150 and all they sent was some onions and lettuce. Then they refused to give me a full refund. I should of know anything having to do with Martha Stewart would be shady.

Entered information to see what their selection and pricing were. I did not select anything and figured no harm, no foul. Next thing I know, I get a FedEx notification. We received the package, and two out of the three meals they sent us were horrible. Finally got through to them to get the account closed. They never offered to make it right.

I have tried most of the meal box companies and this one is by far the worst. Their customer service is truly awful. If you have a problem they just send a scripted email and never get back to you. No care about customer satisfaction at all. Customer beware.
I would also like to add that this is our second time trying this company hoping they had resolved the issues from the first time we tried them a couple of years ago. No such luck. One box didnt arrive, one box came with spoiled ingredients and the third with no recipe cards. You would think that my money would be returned for the furst two. Nope. Just a credit less than what I had spent and a scripted email promising that they would get back to me and never did.

I’ve had issues the last 2 months with my membership and they haven’t responded to the 5 emails and messages I’ve sent. I canceled my account.

We love our Marley Spoon meals. Always delicious, healthy and we enjoy trying all the different cultural recipes.

It was great as always but some ingredient were missing.

Very disappointed. My first box contained tofu that opened so it spilled everywhere and my second box had rotten eggplants. What’s worse, is my second box was vegetarian and I’m a vegan, and the company is taking no responsibility for sending me non-vegan items.

A variety of foods, something for every skill level and palate at a fair price. Delivery over the holidays was a problem but the company made it right.

Great variety of meal options, packaged so each meal is quickly put together and very generous servings as I always get at least one, if not two, leftover meal out of a 2 serving dinner.

I feel the recipes are better than the other companies I have tried (and I’ve tried quite a few.) However, just like all the others, items arrived imperfect. I had a missing lemon, unusable red pepper, and one of the ice packs had a cut in it when it arrived, so I had to wash gel off of everything.
I ended up giving them another try this week. The order arrived a day late and I had 2 unusable food items. I am not going to give them another try - I'm done !

So far so good! We have enjoyed our meals and find them easy to prepare!

I like everything about this service. Meals are very tasty and all ingredients are fresh.

Marley Spoon has been our favorite of the meal boxes, and we've tried several. Ingredients are fresh and recipes are delicious. They were having production/delivery issues during the holidays, but that seems to have been resolved at this point. The only criticism I would have is that, with recipes that include sauces, either ready-made or consumer made, there generally isn't enough sauce, especially when there's rice or some other ingredient that would benefit. More sauce please! Other than that, we've been pleased.
