This is a quick coffee takeout chain spread across the city, offering everything under $5, which is rare in New York. The quality of their coffee/espresso was better when they first opened last year, but it seems to have declined since. Fortunately, the food still tastes great. I have tried almost everything on their menu and love the banana bread the most. Some locations offer a seat or two, but the focus is on fast service rather than dine-in. It was my first time at Matto. I had some questions before placing my order (about customizations, flavor shots, sugar content) and the person there was very polite and helpful (9/29 around 3:40pm). Also, the 'Espresso over ice' that she made (with soy milk, 2 extra shots espresso, and 1 French vanilla flavor shot) came out better than the equivalent (and more expensive) version I normally get from S'bux. 10/10, def recommend!

So I tried really hard to install the app but it proved very difficult. The staff could have helped with that as I was the only guy in the shop. Anyway the banana and date latte was amazing. Definitely want to try more of their menu. 4.36 for such a fantastic drink was well worth it.
