I highly recommend trying this place if you're in the area. The taste of the espresso is truly exceptional and hard to describe. The staff is very friendly, and the establishment is clean and inviting. It's definitely worth a visit!

Incorrectly charged . Price of croissant was $3.5 but I was charged $4+ tax . Seems like the service guy gave himself a tip even before. This is unfair

A nice warm breakfast with unbeatable cheap prices when you order using their app. They have a drinks menu for $3, which includes iced teas, chai latte, pistachio cold brew, matcha latte and many more. That pricing has to be one of the best deals in NYC!
Service was fast, we ordered using the app and the drinks and pastry were ready within minutes. We came in the late morning, so it was not very busy. I would expect that during the morning rush, it might take a bit more time to be served.
The omelette is SO good. I actively think about the warm flaky croissant and the soft cream cheese with the slight acidity from the tomato. Goes so well with the jiggly omelette itself!
The only thing to be aware of is that this location does not have space to sit inside and eat. They have two tiny tables outside, so this would not fit a big group, or be a location that you can sit inside. But works great if you want to grab a yummy drink and a bite to eat in the city!

Last Sunday, I went to this MATTO location - to which I’d never been - on my way to church. (Love its proximity to St. Bart’s church on Park Avenue. Nice!) It was a modest space, in terms of its size; yet its high ceilings and clean, fresh atmosphere made it seem bigger than it actually was. The young man behind the counter (forgive me, as I did not get his name), was welcoming, polite and efficient. He also made a wonderful matcha latte, with ceremonial grade matcha…and trust me, I’ve had quite a few matcha lattes in my day, so I’m a bit of a matcha snob. Ha! : ) So, my compliment really means something. Well, he made it with half and half, per my request, and it was deliciously rich. I would definitely return there sometime, namely before or after church; I’m so grateful that I stopped in. Thanks for a lovely way to start my day! : ) My Best, Kat

Lattes and coffee is incredible and the pricing is very nice!! Been to other Matto locations and service has been incredible!! Only thing in this location is barista is very arrogant and seems to act that doing clientele a favour of serving not good for customer service matto!! ?
