Authentic
Food was delicious, fast, packed & cheap!! 2 meals for $18, $1 extra for an egg each!! Cash only!! Fried pork chop & chicken leg were both sooooo yummy & still tastes the same after over 20+ years later!! Service was quick, friendly & excellent!! Lady even told me that if I can't find parking that she would be happy to bring it to the car!!! Definitely recommended!!! Thanks!!

Very disappointed. Overrated. Got the pork chop over rice, very salty. Prices not that cheap either, you can get authentic Chinese food for the same price and tastier elsewhere.

Chicken over rice came out in less than a minute. The sauce on it is kind of a gravy, with pickled vegetables. Add egg for $1. Solid

While other fast food places have increased their prices, this place still offers good food for under $10.

please raise the price and make the portions bigger instead of shrinking portions and maintaining the price
There is many places in Chinatown that offer Authentic Chinese food, and one of the must visit is May Wah Fast Food, which offer you the very definition of delicious food with quick service, and the price is from a different era. Their chicken leg over rice with the cabbage 🥬 and the boiled brown egg comes to 9$ with the egg. For 30 yrs this dish is one of the staple of Chinatown. A must try

Grab and go only spot with a generous portion of food for between $8-10. Pork chop is huge and tasty, and goes well with the meat sauce and pickled vegetables. Tea egg is also a good accompaniment. Can get a bit messy.

Good place for a fast bite, their meat is deep fried and giving it good texture paid $9 for black pepper chicken leg over rice with a black egg. Recommend you to ask to hold the cabbage it doesn’t pair well with the chicken. Besides that solid food good taste would’ve given it four stars if the price was a dollar or two less for the amount of chicken they give you.overall decent price and decent food for the price, just avoid the cabbage and the egg they offer

If you haven’t had May Wah Fast Food you haven’t have AUTHENTIC food in Chinatown. This is a no frills restaurant with quick and efficient service. The food, however, is DELICIOUS. Their chicken leg over rice is always perfectly cooked and marinated in the perfect umami to pair with the fluffy rice. I highly recommend anyone looking for a delicious and filling meal to check out May Wah as they’re such a Chinatown staple with over 30 years of business under their belt.
