This is a real Irish bar. Not in the sense of taped up paper leprechauns or a tinsel HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY banner, but rather campaign photos of John and Robert Kennedy, as well as other candidates for office going back more than 100 years.
It's one of the oldest bars in New York City, and decorated with historical markers, play tickets, political posters and buttons, as well as a painting of a naked lady!

Went in for my birthday and FDNY bag pipes were there? Good beer. Good hotdogs great people and bartenders and waiters with attitude in a fun way. When I woke up that morning, didn’t know Id be drinking with people from Holland! Plus locals from NYC And DC. “Best answer from a waiter- Where’s my hotdog?” Answer- “ this is McSorleys. Not McDonalds!” Again. Fun Attidude!
