A god sent restaurant during a pandemic. The food and their price tags heal my soul. You don't need to provide your cellphone number when using their touch screen to place your order. Simply tap "enter/ok" to go to the menu screen.I hope there is no price hike in the future. If they can stay being affordable, I will be coming back all the time.
Everything there is good. The prices were more than reasonable - I would have been willing to pay a lot more.Ambiance is a little lacking. It's more of a quick eat or to go place.
Don't read any further if you have any eating disorder.East Village is diversely artistic, eclectically fashionable and romantically realistic! So, restaurants here, that attract only locals must have couragiously exotic, boldly tasty and best-bang-for-the-buck menu! Median Pasar is one one of those places! If you are bringing a date who would only pretend to eat for a later Humpty Dumpty activity, this is not for you. On the contrary, if you both love the taste of nonchalantly tasty Malaysian cuisines without millions of choices to get confused about, you would fall in love with this cute, tiny place with their yellow legged stools and chairs and a fast convenient ordering kiosk (and may be with each other)!
Excellent for the price, was pleasantly surprised. Tried the chicken curry nasi lemak and the beef rendang to go. Price for the portion size is great for NYC. Tasted good too.The rendang tasted better to me. With both the texture and the depth of flavour standing out for a place in USA. The curry could be a bit more tender and flavorful, so could the rice .Will be coming back
Yum! Had the nasi lemak with beef and it was hott and tasty ?
Best meal for under $10 you’ll ever eat! Curry chicken wonton noodles slap
A no fuss, cheap, and delicious Malay restaurant with self service ordering. For a quick bite, good portion, and good value, you won’t be disappointed.
Meant to write a review when I went three weeks ago, but absolutely LOVED it. Such great food for amazing price points, and the cashless system in place is great for those cautious cause COVID. Great new addition to the neighborhood!
YUMMM! if you like coconut milk-based curries you will love their food! The chicken curry noodle isn’t sweet or too spicy it’s just perfect with lots of chicken pieces and crispy potatoes and a wonton soup on the side. A huge portion for a great price.
Really loved the food here and will definitely be back to try the other dishes! Prices and portions were great too - they could easily charge a couple extra dollars per dish if they wanted to. Would highly recommend the prawn fritters!

My friend also order Bubur chacha, tasty!!I ordered through some app which is slightly more expensive. Highly recommend ordering the light their own website!
Had the roast chicken with wonton, and beef rendang. Both were very tasty and well priced. They have self service kiosks which were nice especially during covid
I got the Laksah soup. The way they set up the takeout was good and smart. Also the soup has three different protein which I liked. Flavors were good BUT I have had better. Still good and would still recommend.
