Mediterraneo is my favorite Italian restaurant on the Upper East Side. The owner is phenomenal & she deeply cares about every aspect of the restaurant running smoothly.
The food is exceptionally delicious, the presentation is flawless & the staff is great.
Bravo for a job well done & a long standing excellent reputation that is well deserved in this lovely, cozy neighborhood gem.

I recently took an older friend to Mediterraneo to celebrate his birthday, and it turned out to be a real treat for both of us. He doesn't get out much, so he was thrilled—and when he mentioned it was his birthday, the hostess couldn't have been more gracious or enthusiastic in sharing his excitement.
