Leaving this review with the hope that they'll reopen. This was one of my favorite places in the city pre-pandemic. The soups were packed with flavor, and the noodles were satisfyingly al dente. It was a great place to try dishes from central China such as pig intestine and sour noodles. The service was also impeccable. Most places at this price range would likely involve ordering food at the front of the shop. Whereas here, the wait staff frequently checked in to see how we was doing, offered complementary edamame, and served the food quickly. There's a clean and comfortable ambiance, with high backed seats that offered more privacy than the typical casual restaurant.

***Pre-COVID*** Great place for a wind down weekend dinner with your best pals. It's quiet, service is quick and attentive (not overbearing), and prices are fair. The edamame is free too! Last time I came, I got the tomato beef noodle soup which was very good. Solid Chinese food outside of Chinatown, will be back!

This place offers an extended variety of well developed receipes of noodles and appetizers, as well as a very interesting list of exotic non alcoholic "jasmin tea" based drinks. The personnel is always kind & ready to help, you will leave the dining room with a sense of gratefulness.Pricing is more than reasonable, l would say, really low, for the quality of food you will get.Definitely a hidden gem in 3rd Ave. Don't miss it!!!

As someone who's always down for noodles, I dined in here a few back in February on a Saturday night. No wait time. They serve complimentary edamame, though I don't recall complimentary ice cream being offered :( I enjoyed my pork chop noodles. My friend's tomato beef noodles was very tomatoey. Ken's Pancake was delicious. The waitstaff were nice and attentive.

I went here with my friend on March 1st and ordered via the allset app. We dined in even if our food was already packed to go. The hostess here was kind to let us. They also have a happy hour with a free appetizer when you order two bowls of noodles. I ordered the Kim's Beef Noodles and the broth took me way back on some of the best wonton noodles I've ever had in Asia. I really love its savory balance. The meat was very soft which I like! My friend ordered their spicier broth and she loved them as well. I hope to come back here again especially after this COVID goes away.

I've dined at Meet Noodles quite a few times and the food, service and affordable prices is always exemplary. I did not think it could get any better until I dropped by for a late lunch today and was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by how they managed to step up their game. Our server was friendly, attentive and efficient: prompt water-refills, follow-up questions about our dining experiences, and light-hearted conversations (she even revealed that she remembers me as frequent customer, how often do you see that in NYC?). Since it was happy hour (2-7pm), my table got a FREE appetiser with our order of two bowls of noodles, on top of the bowl of free edamame that they always serve. At the end of the meal, we also got free ice cream (for checking-in on yelp, but honestly they offer it anyways). Here's what I ordered: 1. Coconut Shrimp (free appetiser) Juicy shrimp coated with crispy coconut batter, paired very well with the spicy mayo served on the side. 2. Shanxi Slice Noodles This dish was soo flavourful. The juicy flat noodles was perfect because it soaked up the spicy tomato broth. The tender braised beef was cooked very well and simply fell apart in my mouth 3. Chicken Mixed Noodles A "light" meal yet still full of flavour and with a subtle spicy kick. The quality and chewiness of the noodles can really be tasted in this simple dish. TLDR: Underrated dining spot with generous freebies, amazing food, affordable prices and consistent service. Happy hour is 2-7pm for a free appetiser with purchase of two bowls of noodles, on top of the regular free edamame & ice cream.

While the food was good, with the shredded chicken being on the lower-quality and flavor, the hospitality and treatment is what makes this a good place. Leah was nice to offer ice cream on the house, and the waiters are always willing to accommodate your needs.

Big fan of this place! The vegan menu was GREAT. I'm actually pescatarian, but still, that usually means limited options when I go out to noodle places (pho and ramen are often beef and pork-focused, respectively). Here, the world was my oyster! I ended up ordering the BBQ "Pork" soup, which was delicious. Fake meat definitely had a different consistency, but the flavor was allll there. Will be coming back again soon.

Absolutely wonderful hidden gem. Wait staff were on top of it and super nice and the food was delicious. Well-priced and we got free ice cream!

Really enjoyed this casual noodle place! We split two entrees and some starters between 4 people and it was just the right amount of food and we all tried a bit of everything! :) recommend the egg custard buns and the basil fried chicken
