Delicious food and great service, right across from Chelsea Market. Had a little kids sticker activity which was a nice touch :) We loved the Lobster pizza special on NYE.

Definitely sit at the bar and watch them cook in the big open kitchen. The gem salad was huge and excellent. Loved the sausage pizza too. The big clam is overrated - can’t taste much of the seafood. Servers kept oddly calling us “friend” and our server had on too much cologne. Worth going back just for the salad and pizza!

Finally had a chance to go to Mel’s after hearing such great things about it from people in the neighborhood. The food was excellent, every dish. The salads were perfect and even the eggplant entree was amazing. Pizza was spot on (both pomodoro and truffle), dessert was perfect. My 2 year old had a blast, but this is a venue for all occasions — couples were these too. Large place so things felt very private. Service was great too. Will definitely be back.

We ate here at the recommendation of a local restaurant owner. We were quite pleased from entry to exit. The focaccia was amazing. You have to get the vodka Rosa sauce and our favorite pizza was the sausage. Right across from the Chelsea Market so not a hugely busy area.

$55 for a steak and I'm only a steak. No sides, no salads. Nothing. The place smelt burnt when we walked in to the point where it burned your eyes.

The worst customer service: the servers have attitude and don’t greet you because they’re too busy chitchatting. The only time they were prompt was when I asked for the check. I emailed the manager about the incident and the server’s name but never received a response. Clearly, they don’t care about service at all.

We had a reservation for 8:30pm, ordered our food at 8:40pm (three pizzas) and didn’t get served till 9:25pm. The server didn’t check in with us throughout that time nor did they apologize for the wait. The food was fine but it was nothing special- you can definitely get better and cheaper pizza in NYC.

Sorry no pictures, I couldn't wait to get the best pizza in the city! The ambience is always high, the pizza is delicious and mouthwatering.
We got cacio e pepe
Btw try their in house made chilly oil. I believe it's infused with fried onions and garlic, it's $6 extra but def is worth it

Solid pizza. The chili oil isn't worth, not spicy at all, but otherwise tasty.
