This place sucks! They overcharged and acted like it was my problem. Then they never gave fries and had to come back. No one ever apologized but acted annoyed I was even there. What a horrible business.

Had this place on my list of NYC food stops so stopped in for a quick grilled cheese. Fella at the register was rude taking my order pointing out that I could’ve ordered at the self order kiosks. Sorry pal first time here so I didn’t know and you could’ve just said that instead of being rude while you took my order. Grilled cheese was average. Disappointed.

I went here with my wife to get a meal before we continued on our trip. After ordering our meal, it came out and I was told there is no strawberry lemonade left, which is fine. The problem is that I was charged extra specifically for the "strawberry" lemonade.
When I told the employee, I was charged extra. She insisted that I wasn't charged any extra. I then took out the receipt to show her that I was charged extra. She looked at the receipt and sighed at me and said " Still, there is nothing we can do because we don't have strawberry lemonade."
I said thats fine, I would just like a refund because I was charged extra for the strawberry. She then put her hand up to me as to tell me to stop talking and then walked into the back. I waited for her to come back for 15 minutes and decided to just leave. Extremely rude service and absolutely not professional.

Melt shop is one block off times square. Great offerings for all. We had the chicken parm melt and the patty melt. Both were very good and tasted fresh. The shop is clean, as is the bathroom. The staff were friendly and smiling at each encounter with them. Counter and kiosk service available. Overall, we were very pleased with our stop here today.

Just not good!! I ordered a grilled cheese with bacon and caramelized onions. The sandwich was greasy and cold, the cheese was not melted and the bacon was so thin you could see through it. I was expecting more from an $8 grilled cheese. My tater tots were cold and soggy. I will never return to this establishment. Overall, I would rate a -1 but can’t. Seating is not comfortable and the flow of the restaurant is very poor. I do not recommend.
Was there visiting and found melt shop to be reasonably prices for being close to time square and the food is amazing when I am back in new york I will definitely be back
